Compute.Disks.Insert (Compute Engine API alpha-rev20200526-1.30.9)

com.google.api.services.compute

Class Compute.Disks.Insert

    • Constructor Detail

      • Insert

        protected Insert(String project,
                         String zone,
                         Disk content)
        Creates a persistent disk in the specified project using the data in the request. You can create a disk with a sourceImage, a sourceSnapshot, or create an empty 500 GB data disk by omitting all properties. You can also create a disk that is larger than the default size by specifying the sizeGb property. Create a request for the method "disks.insert". This request holds the parameters needed by the the compute server. After setting any optional parameters, call the AbstractGoogleClientRequest.execute() method to invoke the remote operation.

        Compute.initialize(com.google.api.client.googleapis.services.AbstractGoogleClientRequest) must be called to initialize this instance immediately after invoking the constructor.

        Parameters:
        project - Project ID for this request.
        zone - The name of the zone for this request.
        content - the Disk
        Since:
        1.13
    • Method Detail

      • getProject

        public String getProject()
        Project ID for this request.
      • getZone

        public String getZone()
        The name of the zone for this request.
      • getRequestId

        public String getRequestId()
        An optional request ID to identify requests. Specify a unique request ID so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore the request if it has already been completed. For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments. The request ID must be a valid UUID with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).
      • setRequestId

        public Compute.Disks.Insert setRequestId(String requestId)
• getSourceImage

        public String getSourceImage()
        Optional. Source image to restore onto a disk.
