	<para>The JSR 309 is designed to provide server-based Java applications with multimedia capabilities. It defines API and programming model, which create general interface to media server.
	This interface abstracts from control protocol used to connect to media server.</para>
	<para>&THIS.RA; Resource Adaptor includes &THIS.PLATFORM; implementation of JSR 309, which is based on <acronym>MGCP</acronym>, but may be used instead with any other JSR 309 implementation.</para>
