JSLint takes a JavaScript source and scans it. If it finds a problem, it returns a message describing the problem and an approximate location within the source. The problem is not necessarily a syntax error, although it often is. JSLint looks at some style conventions as well as structural problems. It does not prove that your program is correct. It just provides another set of eyes to help spot problems.

The core classes for the JSF Toolkit Component Framework. Includes all framework base and utility classes as well as component kick-start/code-generation and registration tools. Also includes some classes for testing that are reused in other projects. They cannot be factored out into a separate project because they are referenced by the tests and they reference this code (circular dependence).

Of course these aspects depend on the implementation as well however this API standardizes the minimum set of interfaces associated with codec's that are stateful. Until this API is added to the commons-codec project several interfaces and classes here are duplicated to minimize the number of dependencies: namely a dependency on commons-codec will be avoided.

Each Java project should follow a given coding style. I.e., all contributions to the source code should use the same formatting rules, design principles, code patterns, idioms, etc. I published such a coding style in my GitHub project codingstyle (https://github.com/uhafner/codingstyle) - I am using this coding style in my lectures about software development at Munich University of Applied Sciences and in all of my open source projects. If you want to use this coding style as well, you can use this Maven POM as parent of your own POM. Then you get the configuration several static analysis and testing tools for free.

The chart-fx charting library is an extension in the spirit of Oracle's XYChart and performance/time-proven JDataViewer charting functionalities. Emphasis was put on plotting performance for both large number of data points and real-time displays, as well as scientific accuracies leading to error bar/surface plots, and other scientific plotting features (parameter measurements, fitting, multiple axes, zoom, ...). The library also contains a small set of math routines that can operate directly on the DataSet primitive for fitting, computing spectra, linear algebra, FIR/IIR filtering, and other functionalities common to signal processing.

Red Hat Global Social Innovation Program is partnering with Boston University and Smarta Byar in order to collaborate on creating a global and open research platform allowing researchers to study what social sustainability means by using a digital twin of Veberöd, Sweden as the test village, supported by Smarta Byar. The goal of this collaboration is to build the open source technological infrastructure so that researchers can collaborate on this platform effectively to study mobility, public health, sustainability among other study areas to ultimately help define better the link between well being and eco-smart cities.
