angxincode.cpdetector.1.0.10.source-code.binary-release.txt Maven / Gradle / Ivy
This zipfile contains the java libaries needed to run cpdetector.
If you want to use the command line tool info.monitorenter.cpdetector.CodepageProcessor
you have to use jargs.jar in the classpath too:
unix: java -classpath ./ext/jargs-1.0.jar:cpdetector_1.0.9.jar:./ext/antlr-2.7.4.jar info.monitorenter.cpdetector.CodepageProcessor
windows: unix: java -classpath ./ext/jargs-1.0.jar;cpdetector_1.0.9.jar;./ext/antlr-2.7.4.jar info.monitorenter.cpdetector.CodepageProcessor
Output then is:
usage: java -cp jargs-1.0.jar;cpdetector_1.0.9.jar:antlr-2.7.4.jar:chardet.jar info.monitorenter.cpdetector.CodepageProcessor -r -o [options]
options:
Optional:
-c : Only print available charsets on this system.
-e : A comma- or semicolon- separated string for document extensions like "-e txt, dat" (without dot or space!).
-m : Move files with unknown charset to directory "unknown".
-v : Verbose output.
-w : Wait seconds before trying next document (good, if you want to work on the very same machine).
-t : Try to transform the document to given charset (codepage) name.
This is only possible for documents that are detected to have a
codepage that is supported by the current java VM. If not possible
sorting will be done as normal.
-d : Semicolon-separated list of fully qualified classnames.
These classes will be casted to ICodepageDetector instances
and used in the order specified.
If this argument is ommited, a HTMLCodepageDetector followed by .
a JChardetFacade is used by default.
Mandatory (if no -c option given) :
-r : Root directory containing the collection (recursive).
-o : Output directory containing the sorted collection.
Error: Parameter for collection root directory is missing.
java.util.MissingResourceException: Parameter for collection root directory is missing.

If you integrate cpdetector in your java application you just need
to use:
- chardet.jar
- antlr.jar
antlr.jar is version 2.7.4. Porting to version 3 has been stopped after
encountering some problems with packages an required import for lexer
to specify lexer options in combination with non-unamed package.
