## Automatic or Explicit Bounds

By default the rendering engine will automatically set the upper and lower bounds based on the data in the chart. This can be useful to help zoom in on an area of interest, but in some cases it can lead to confusion. Keep in mind that often users will be glancing at a chart rather than looking at the full context.
