java-types from group net.florianschoppmann.java (version 1.0.1)
Skeletal implementation of interface javax.lang.model.util.Types, plus concrete realization backed by core
Java Reflection API, akin to JEP 119.
This module implements those methods in interface javax.lang.model.util.Types that pertain to the Java type
system, plus it provides a method for resolving formal type parameters to actual type arguments. These methods
have no equivalent in the Java Reflection API.
The abstract skeletal implementation in this module is meant to be specialized for a particular javax.lang.model
implementation. The abstraction makes this module well-suited to be used in projects that contain
javax.lang.model as part of their domain model (for instance, implementations of alternative languages on top of
the JVM).

REngine from group com.github.lucarosellini.rJava (version 0.9-7)
Rserve is a TCP/IP server which allows other programs to use facilities of R (see www.r-project.org) from various languages without the need to initialize R or link against R library. Every connection has a separate workspace and working directory. Client-side implementations are available for popular languages such as C/C++, PHP and Java. Rserve supports remote connection, authentication and file transfer. Typical use is to integrate R backend for computation of statstical models, plots etc. in other applications.

siena from group com.google.code.maven-play-plugin.com.sienaproject.siena (version 1.0.0-b6-20111107)
Siena is a persistence abstraction layer made in Java with various implementations:
* siena-jdbc: persists objects into a relational database using JDBC (status: deeply tested)
* siena-gae: persists objects into the Google App Engine's datastore using its low-level API (status: beta)
* siena-sdb: persists objects using Amazon's SimpleDB (very experimental)
* siena-remote: persists objects remotely using a remote web application that uses siena. (planning)
Siena is also:
* Intrusive. You make a class persistent by
extending a certain class. Relationships are defined also in an
intrusive way.
* Simple. Simplicity is the most important thing.
* Limited. Due to the simplicity there are several unsupported
things such as JOINs.
* Extensible. There are two interfaces you
can implement on your own way.

brap from group no.tornado.brap (version 1.0.1)
BRAP is a Java and Android remoting protocol that uses native Java object serialization, encapsulated in HTTP.
It aims to be an alternative to Spring HttpInvoker and Spring Security
especially when you don't need or want the dependencies of Spring in your client, for example when
building a rich client app or an Android app where size is important.
The authentication mechanism lets you use your own domain objects as credentials.
Server configuration can be expressed solely in web.xml or by subclassing the ProxyServlet but
there is also an optional SpringProxyServlet available for seamless Spring Integration.
BRAP focuses on being easy to use, small in size (9 kb), yet powerful and extensible.
The client uses a pluggable TransportProvider with default implementations for HttpURLConnection and
Apache HttpClient.

relay-jdbc from group com.github.peter-gergely-horvath (version 3.0.0)
relay-jdbc allows a JDBC connection to be relayed through an intermediate
relay server: it is both a JDBC driver (client) and a JDBC relay server.
It is a fork of https://github.com/AugeoSoftware/VJDBC project, where
Aleksei Yu. Semenov has implemented a number of brilliant improvements
of the orignal VJDBC project hosted on http://vjdbc.sourceforge.net
Original Developers were: Hunter Payne ([email protected])
and Michael Link ([email protected]).
For all pre-existing code, credits go to the original respective author.
This product brings the original VJDBC concept further and (apart from code
quality improvements and bug fixes) implements complete separation of the
underlying transport mechanism, introducing support for connecting directly
through a SSH pipe, where the relay server interacts with the client through
standard I/O pipes.
The re-designed transport architecture supports easy development of new
transport implementations, allowing this JDBC relay to be quickly adapted
to a variety of exotic environments.

comparators from group de.cit-ec.tcs.alignment (version 3.1.1)
This module defines the interfaces for Comparators in the TCS Alignment Toolbox. A Comparator has
the purpose of defining the dissimilarity between elements in the input sequences of an
Alignment. More specific information on Comparators can be found in the 'Comparator' interface.
You can find a lot of helpful standard implementations of Comparators in the comparators-lib
module.
In the TCS Alignment Toolbox we require the output values of Comparators to lie in the range
[0,1]. Many natural dissimilarities on value sets do not meet this criterion, such that
additional normalization has to be applied. To that end this package also contains a Normalizer
interface for functions that map real values from the range [0, infinity) to the range [0,1].
This package also provides a few convenience implementations of the Comparator interface to make
the implementation of custom Comparators simpler, namely: SkipExtendedComparator,
ParameterLessSkipExtendedComparator, ComparisonBasedSkipExtendedComparator, and
ParameterLessComparisonBasedSkipExtendedComparator.
Finally the TCS Alignment Toolbox also provides the means to learn parameters of Comparators. To
enable that Comparators must implement the DerivableComparator interface to properly define the
parameters that can be learned and the gradient of the dissimilarity with respect to these
parameters. Gradients are stored using the Gradient interface as well as some convenience
implementations of said interface, namely EmptyGradient, SingletonGradient, ArrayGradient and
ListGradient.
