The XRadar is an open extensible code report tool currently supporting all Java based systems. The batch-processing framework produces HTML/SVG reports of the systems current state and the development over time - all presented in sexy tables and graphs. It gets results from several brilliant open source projects and a couple of in house grown projects and presents the results as massive unified html/svg reports. The architecture is based on java, xml and xsl. Presently it only supports Java, but there are plans to produce plug ins for other leading languages.

Wicket is a Java web application framework that takes simplicity, separation of concerns and ease of development to a whole new level. Wicket pages can be mocked up, previewed and later revised using standard WYSIWYG HTML design tools. Dynamic content processing and form handling is all handled in Java code using a first-class component model backed by POJO data beans that can easily be persisted using your favorite technology.

SableCC is an object-oriented framework that generates compilers (and interpreters) in the Java programming language. This framework is based on two fundamental design decisions. Firstly, the framework uses object-oriented techniques to automatically build a strictly-typed abstract syntax tree. Secondly, the framework generates tree-walker classes using an extended version of the visitor design pattern which enables the implementation of actions on the nodes of the abstract syntax tree using inheritance. These two design decisions lead to a tool that supports a shorter development cycle for constructing compilers.

Jetty is an open-source, standards-based, full-featured web server implemented entirely in Java. It is released under the Apache 2.0 licence and is therefore free for commercial use and distribution. First created in 1995, Jetty has benefitted from input from a vast user community and consistent and focused development by a stable core of lead developers. There are many more examples of Jetty in action on the Jetty Powered Page that has selections from among the tens of thousands of production Jetty instances. However, as Jetty aims to be as unobtrusive as possible, countless websites and products are based around Jetty, but Jetty is invisible!

MulTEx is a simple, but powerful framework for organizing exceptions and messages in a multi-tier Java software system. It offers the key features: Causal chains/trees as a means to capture low-level error information Redundancy-free stack traces in the case of indirectly caused exceptions Internationalizable message texts and parameters for exceptions Services for reporting an exception with its causal chain/tree onto streams and screens A standard way for writing method bodies with regard to exceptions. MulTEx depends on Java >= 1.4

Parasoft Jtest is a comprehensive Java testing product for development teams building Java EE, SOA, Web, and other Java applications. It promotes a “test early and often” strategy so that quality is built into the code, and bugs are exposed upon introduction—when fixing them requires minimal rework. By providing fast and easy ways to apply a comprehensive set of testing techniques, Jtest gives even the busiest teams a practical way to ensure that their code works as expected.

Stopwatch is a free, simple, highly extensible, Java API that allows developers to easily monitor whole application or any part of it. By default Stopwatch generate reports about hits, execution times (total, average, minimum, maximum) as well as load but it can be easily extended to measure anything else by providing custom engine. Out of the box Stopwatch uses an in-memory HSQL database. It is able to persist collected data using a "storage". There is "storage" provided to persist into HSQL database and custom "storage" can be easily integrated.

A tool to help visualise API differences between two different versions of a project. Jardiff takes two jar files and outputs all the public API changes as xml, html or plain text. Currently this is command line driven, though we are working on an ant plugin. It requires java 1.4 to run. <h2>Background</h2> At OSjava, we were using a shell script to work out API differences between our release versions. This unfortunately doesn't scale very well to larger projects, the main reason for jardiff was to do the same in a much shorter time (From memory it was taking minutes to get the API diff from two fairly small jars). In it's current state, jardiff can generate the api differences between rt.jar for java 1.4 and java 1.5 in under 20 seconds, so it should scale to even the largest of projects.

Alphatier is a resource management library. It is designed to allow different schedulers to share the resources of a pool of executors in order to execute tasks with those.
