The Infinispan Spring Integration project provides Spring integration for Infinispan, a high performance distributed cache. Its primary features are * An implementation of org.springframework.cache.CacheManager, Spring's central caching abstraction, backed by Infinispan's EmbeddedCacheManager. To be used if your Spring-powered application and Infinispan are colocated, i.e. running within the same VM. * An implementation of org.springframework.cache.CacheManager backed by Infinispan's RemoteCacheManager. To bes used if your Spring-powered application accesses Infinispan remotely, i.e. over the network. * An implementation of org.springframework.cache.CacheManager backed by a CacheContainer reference. To be used if your Spring- powered application needs access to a CacheContainer defined outside the application (e.g. retrieved from JNDI) * Spring namespace support allowing shortcut definitions for all the components above In addition, Infinispan Spring Integration offers various FactoryBeans for facilitating creation of Infinispan core classes - Cache, CacheManager, ... - within a Spring context.

This is a demo program that illustrates some of the capabilities of Madura working with Vaadin. Specifically it shows the use of the JPAontainer. The JPAContainer shown here is extended from the one you can find in Vaadin Addons to support Spring's @Transactional notation. It is also using Madura Objects, but that is an interesting incidental because you could use Madura Objects with both. So the objective here is to show a complete working demo of how to configure everything to show a table of data fetched from a database using JPA, including popup edit forms.

Spring JdbcTemplate did very convient and useful, but it also has some disadvantages or in another word “inconvenient”. For example, you can’t just pass an object and tell JdbcTemplate to turn it into a sql and save to database just like hibernate does. Alright, you may say “JdbcTemplate doesn’t need you to write hbm.xml , so it’s understandable”. But is it true that this thing is impossible to achieve? And also you know JdbcTemplate can auto turn the result of a query to a list of persistent object a.k.a PO, but when you want to do this you will meet a problem: “How to ?”.Because you can’t find any function of JdbcTemplate to pass a sql and a PO class as we expected. After you google for it, you’ve been told you can create a BeanPropertyRowMapper to deal with this. But isn’t it could be more easier? Based on those questions I create JdbcTemplateTool which can provide these features.

This plugin provides integration between Spring and Maven. Plugin goals support loading a Spring context XML file as part of the Maven build lifecycle. The XML file can be on the local file system or be accessible via any URL Spring's resource loading mechanism can understand. Spring's "classpath:context.xml" style notation is supported. Annotated Java classes can also be used to load a Spring context. Maven properties are injected into the Spring context (both XML and annotation style) as a java.util.Properties bean named "mavenProperties". Maven properties are also registered as a top level PropertySource so that Spring's placeholder resolution framework automatically considers them. BRAP is a Java and Android remoting protocol that uses native Java object serialization, encapsulated in HTTP. It aims to be an alternative to Spring HttpInvoker and Spring Security especially when you don't need or want the dependencies of Spring in your client, for example when building a rich client app or an Android app where size is important. The authentication mechanism lets you use your own domain objects as credentials. Server configuration can be expressed solely in web.xml or by subclassing the ProxyServlet but there is also an optional SpringProxyServlet available for seamless Spring Integration. BRAP focuses on being easy to use, small in size (9 kb), yet powerful and extensible. The client uses a pluggable TransportProvider with default implementations for HttpURLConnection and Apache HttpClient.

The idea and motivation of the lindbergframework is to provide resources and simple solutions to problems based on the concept 'Plug and Use'. In the current version, the framework provides easy and simple solutions to the population of beans from SQL queries, abstraction of the complexities to access to stored procedures and stored functions , population of database cursors, transaction management, dependency injection, integration with Spring, JSF and Adobe Flex. This library aims to provide a central access point to the services exposed on the ESB without forcing each part of the system to know the actual location of the ESB and the names of the exposed endpoints. For this sake it allows to map service URI (ie referring to service in webLab taxonomy) to the actual exposed URL on the ESB within the context of a specific project. The library and the configuration should be added in portal lib in order to be central and available to any portlets. The mapping is done in a simple spring config file "webLabClient.xml" which must be accessible in JAVA classpath.
