eFaps is a framework used to map objects with or without attached files to a relational database and optional file systems (only for attaches files). Configurable access control can be provided down to object and attribute level depending on implementation and use case. Depending on requirements, events (like triggers) allow to implement business logic and to separate business logic from user interface. The framework includes integrations (e.g. webdav, full text search) and a web application as 'simple' configurable user interface. Some best practises, example web application modules (e.g. team work module) support administrators and implementers using this framework.

GroupDocs.Viewer is an online document viewer that lets you read documents in your browser, regardless of whether you have the software that they were created in. You can view many types to word processing documents (DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF, ODT), presentations (PPT, PPTX), spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX), portable files (PDF), and image files (JPG, BMP, GIF, TIFF). For each file, you get a high-fidelity rendering, showing the document just as it would if you opened it in the software it was created in. Layout and formatting is retained and you see an exact copy of the original. GroupDocs.Viewer lets you really read the document. You can search text documents, copy text and even embed the document – GroupDocs.Viewer and all - in a web page. You can print or download the file from GroupDocs.Viewer if you need to work with it offline.

Reco4j is an open source project aims at developing a recommendation framework based on graph data sources. We choose graph databases for several reasons. They are NoSQL databases, so "schemaless". This means that it is possible to extend the basic data structure with intermediate information, i.e. similarity value between item and so on. Moreover, since every information is expressed with properties, nodes and relations, the recommendation process can be customized to work on every graph. Reco4j can be used on every graph where "user" and "item" is represented by node and the preferences are modelled as relationship between them. Current implementation leverage on Neo4j as first graph database integrated in our framework.

snmpAdaptor4j is an adaptor for Java Management eXtensions (JMX) providing a simple access to MBeans via the SNMP protocol. Thus, this adapter you allow to connect most monitoring tools (like Nagios and Cacti) to your Java applications. For each MBean, an XML mapping file allows to establish the relationships between attributes and the MIB of the SNMP adapter. No additional code is necessary to integrate the MBeans in the SNMP protocol. This adapter can work in a multi-applications environment (such as application servers).

JFace is a UI toolkit with classes for handling many common UI programming tasks. JFace is window-system-independent in both its API and implementation, and is designed to work with SWT without hiding it. JFace includes the usual UI toolkit components of image and font registries, text, dialog, preference and wizard frameworks, and progress reporting for long running operations. Two of its more interesting features are actions and viewers. The action mechanism allows user commands to be defined independently from their exact whereabouts in the UI. Viewers are model based adapters for certain SWT widgets, simplifying the presentation of application data structured as lists, tables or trees.

Scala classes to allow more elegant use of Multiverse from Scala. Atm the functionality is quite limited since not a lot of effort was put in the Scala integration. For the 0.6 release Multiverse should be able to work with in Scala written transactional objects configured with the Multiverse annotations. So that would reduce the need for this library, although in Scala they want to have special Scala 'interfaces' that provide some syntactic sugar to use java collections in Scala. So this module would be the good location for that. If anyone would like to help improving the Multiverse/Scala integration, please don't hesitate to join.

All Roads Lead to ROME. ROME is a set of Atom/RSS Java utilities that make it easy to work in Java with most syndication formats. Today it accepts all flavors of RSS (0.90, 0.91, 0.92, 0.93, 0.94, 1.0 and 2.0), Atom 0.3 and Atom 1.0 feeds. Rome includes a set of parsers and generators for the various flavors of feeds, as well as converters to convert from one format to another. The parsers can give you back Java objects that are either specific for the format you want to work with, or a generic normalized SyndFeed object that lets you work on with the data without bothering about the underlying format.

Shades is an Object/Relational Mapping (ORM) framework that works in conjunction with JDBC APIs. Instead of relying on XML or annotations for configuration, Shades relies on an interface called ORMapping. This makes shades simple and flexible. Shades has no new transaction model nor Connection management which you must learn. You control the transactions, and the Connection that Shades uses, through plain JDBC interfaces. Shades is designed to work well with modern web development frameworks like Tapestry and Wicket.

A tool to help visualise API differences between two different versions of a project. Jardiff takes two jar files and outputs all the public API changes as xml, html or plain text. Currently this is command line driven, though we are working on an ant plugin. It requires java 1.4 to run. <h2>Background</h2> At OSjava, we were using a shell script to work out API differences between our release versions. This unfortunately doesn't scale very well to larger projects, the main reason for jardiff was to do the same in a much shorter time (From memory it was taking minutes to get the API diff from two fairly small jars). In it's current state, jardiff can generate the api differences between rt.jar for java 1.4 and java 1.5 in under 20 seconds, so it should scale to even the largest of projects.
