Sanity4J was created to simplify running multiple static code
analysis tools on the Java projects. It provides a single entry
point to run all the selected tools and produce a consolidated
report, which presents all findings in an easily accessible
manner.
MethodWithSameNameAsEnclosingClass
MethodWithSameNameAsEnclosingClass
Non-constructor methods should not have the same name as the enclosing class.
This rule is defined by the following Java class: net.sourceforge.pmd.lang.java.rule.naming.MethodWithSameNameAsEnclosingClassRule
Example(s):
public class MyClass {
public MyClass() {} // this is OK because it is a constructor
public void MyClass() {} // this is bad because it is a method
}
