			This message provides request functionality for querying a trading partners system for hotel inventory items that have availability and/or rate changes and therefore should be updated in a trading partner's cache. The information in the response message will indicate if an OTA_HotelAvailRQ is required to refresh the trading partner's data cache.
		
		
			
				
					
						Point of sale information about the message initiator.
					
				
				
					
						A container element for one or more cache search criteria definitions.
					
					
						
							
								
									The search criteria for the cache refresh, which may include any combination of hotel IDs, brand codes, chain codes, rate information, room information, inventory block IDs and geographical area information.
								
								
									
										
											
												Geographical and position-based cache search criteria.
											
											
												
													
														
															The Position element contains three attributes, Latitude, Longitude, and Altitude, used to indicate the geographic location(s) requested by the search, expressed in notation specified by ISO standard 6709.
