  Opposition Concerned About Labrador Study October 7, 2008 The Leader of the Opposition says the coast of Labrador needs its diesel generated energy to be replaced, not complemented. On Monday government announced a plan to conduct a in coastal communities to determine if alternate sources of energy can be used to complement diesel generation in the region. Yvonne Jones says burning diesel to generate electricity is costly and damaging to the environment.
