A Mason-Dixon poll released Tuesday shows Obama has a 2-point lead over McCain, 48 percent to 46 percent among registered voters, while 1 percent of those polled say they support other candidates, The Miami Herald reported Tuesday. The poll shows that the economy is the No. 1 issue for 69 percent of voters in the Sunshine State. The poll also indicates that less than half of respondents said they support the government's $700 billion plan to rescue the financial industry. The poll of 625 registered voters has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points. When the poll was conducted was not reported.
