Sanity4J was created to simplify running multiple static code
analysis tools on the Java projects. It provides a single entry
point to run all the selected tools and produce a consolidated
report, which presents all findings in an easily accessible
manner.
JUnitAssertionsShouldIncludeMessage
JUnitAssertionsShouldIncludeMessage
JUnit assertions should include a message - i.e., use the three argument version of
assertEquals(), not the two argument version.
This rule is defined by the following Java class:
net.sourceforge.pmd.rules.junit.JUnitAssertionsShouldIncludeMessage
Example:
public class Foo extends TestCase {
public void testSomething() {
assertEquals("foo", "bar");
// Use the form:
// assertEquals("Foo does not equals bar", "foo", "bar");
// instead
}
}
