UnconditionalIfStatement

UnconditionalIfStatement

Do not use "if" statements that are always true or always false.

This rule is defined by the following XPath expression:

//IfStatement/Expression
 [count(PrimaryExpression)=1]
 /PrimaryExpression/PrimaryPrefix/Literal/BooleanLiteral

Example:

public class Foo {
 public void close() {
  if (true) {
       // ...
   }
 }
}
