UnnecessaryParentheses

UnnecessaryParentheses

Sometimes expressions are wrapped in unnecessary parentheses, making them look like a function call.

This rule is defined by the following XPath expression:

          //Expression
           /PrimaryExpression
            /PrimaryPrefix
             /Expression[count(*)=1]
              /PrimaryExpression
              /PrimaryPrefix

Example:

  public class Foo {
      boolean bar() {
          return (true);
      }
  }
