This rule is defined by the following Java class:
net.sourceforge.pmd.rules.strings.ConsecutiveLiteralAppends
Example:
public class Foo {
private void bar() {
StringBuffer buf = new StringBuffer();
buf.append("Hello").append(" ").append("World"); //bad
buf.append("Hello World");//good
}
}
