Sanity4J was created to simplify running multiple static code
analysis tools on the Java projects. It provides a single entry
point to run all the selected tools and produce a consolidated
report, which presents all findings in an easily accessible
manner.

InefficientStringBuffering
InefficientStringBuffering
Avoid concatenating non literals in a StringBuffer constructor or append().
This rule is defined by the following Java class:
net.sourceforge.pmd.rules.strings.InefficientStringBuffering
Example:
public class Foo {
void bar() {
// Avoid this
StringBuffer sb=new StringBuffer("tmp = "+System.getProperty("java.io.tmpdir"));
// use instead something like this
StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer("tmp = ");
sb.append(System.getProperty("java.io.tmpdir"));
}
}
