DataNucleus Core provides the primary components of a heterogenous Java persistence solution. It supports persistence API's being layered on top of the core functionality.

    Package providing the plugin mechanism utilised by DataNucleus. 
    The mechanism is based around Eclipse extension points / extensions, and is usable under an OSGi environment or a basic Java environment.
    There is no dependency on Eclipse classes.
