Edit Custom Resource
Use the Edit Custom Resource page to edit a custom JNDI resource.
The Edit Custom Resource page contains the following options.
- JNDI Name

A unique name that identifies the resource. The JNDI name is a read-only field. You can only specify the JNDI name when you create a new custom resource.
- Resource Type
-
The fully qualified type definition for the resource.
- Factory Class
-
The user-specified name for the factory class. This class implements the javax.naming.spi.ObjectFactory
interface.
- Deployment Order
-
The deployment order of the custom resource.
- Description
-
A description of this custom resource.
- Status
-
Whether the resource is available at runtime.
If only the default server instance, server
, exists in the domain, the resource's runtime availability can be enabled or disabled. Runtime availability is enabled by default.
If any clusters or standalone instances have been created in the domain, use the Target tab to control runtime availability of the resource on its targets.
- Additional Properties
-
Additional properties for the custom resource. GlassFish Server does not define any additional properties for custom resources.
