Provider Configurations

Use the Provider Configurations page to configure message security provider configurations for the SOAP or HttpServlet authentication layer.
By default, four providers are configured for the SOAP authentication layer.
For each provider configuration, the following information is provided.

Provider ID

The name of the provider configuration.

Provider Type

The type of the provider, which can be any of the following:

client

Specifies that the provider is the client authentication provider.

server

Specifies that the provider is the server authentication provider.

client-server

Specifies that the provider is both a client and a server authentication provider.



Default Provider

If set to true, the provider is the default provider.

Class Name

The name of the Java implementation class of the provider.


The Provider Configurations table also contains the following options.

New

Button to create a new provider configuration.

Delete

Button to delete one or more selected provider configurations.
