Description
------------
JMSXDeliveryCount property will be set to the number of times the message has been delivered.
This a mandatory property that will be set by JMS Provider.
JMSXDeliveryCountExample* examples illustrates how to write an application that demonstrates
the use of new JMS2.0 message property JMSXDeliveryCount.
Some basic info on this example:
- JMSXDeliveryCountExample1.class
sends message to the particular queue specified.
receive message with CLIENT_ACKNOWLEDGE, check JMSXDeliveryCount property on message, & close
the connection without ack.
receive the message again, check JMSXDeliveryCount property, & acknowledge the message.
The first time a message is received JMSXDeliveryCount will be set to 1.
Second time JMSXDeliveryCount will be set to 2 which means the message has been redelivered.
- JMSXDeliveryCountExample2.class
sends message to the particular queue specified.
receive message with in txn mode, check JMSXDeliveryCount property on message, & rollback the transaction.
receive the message again, check JMSXDeliveryCount property, & commit the transaction.
The first time a message is received JMSXDeliveryCount will be set to 1.
Second time JMSXDeliveryCount will be set to 2 which means the message has been redelivered.

Configuring the environment
---------------------------
To recompile or run this example, you need to set CLASSPATH
to include at least:
jms.jar
imq.jar
directory containing this example

the Message Queue installation (/examples/README) as well as in
the "Quick Start Tutorial" in the Oracle GlassFish(tm) Server Message Queue
Developer's Guide.
Building the example
--------------------
Run the following:
javac JMSXDeliveryCountExample1.java
javac JMSXDeliveryCountExample2.java
Running the example
-------------------
Run the following command to run JMSXDeliveryCountExample1:
java JMSXDeliveryCountExample1
The output of JMSXDeliveryCountExample1 looks like this:
java JMSXDeliveryCountExample1 q1
Queue name is q1
Sent message to the Queue
Message received..
Message received : 1361836280101
JMSXDeliveryCount for the received message : 1
Close the context without ack
Received the redelivered msg ..
Message Redelivered : 1361836280101
JMSXDeliveryCount for the redelivered message : 2
Run the following command to run JMSXDeliveryCountExample2:
java JMSXDeliveryCountExample2
The output of JMSXDeliveryCountExample1 looks like this:
java JMSXDeliveryCountExample2 q2
Queue name is q2
Sent message to queue
Message Received..
Message received : 1361836343079
JMSXDeliveryCount for the received message : 1
Rollback the transaction
Try to receive the Message again
Message redelivered : 1361836343079
JMSXDeliveryCount for the redelivered message : 2
