vfsjfilechooser2 is a mavenized fork of the dormant vfsjfilechooser project on sf.net (http://vfsjfilechooser.sourceforge.net/). It is an alternative to Java's JFileChooser Swing component, which does not suffer from the JFileChooser's infamous "freezes" on Windows. It has been updated to work with version 2.0 of the VFS Apache commons and includes a few bugfixes and enhancements.

Pdf2Dom is a PDF parser that converts the documents to a HTML DOM representation. The obtained DOM tree may be then serialized to a HTML file or further processed. The inline CSS definitions contained in the resulting document are used for making the HTML page as similar as possible to the PDF input. A command-line utility for converting the PDF documents to HTML is included in the distribution package. Pdf2Dom may be also used as an independent Java library with a standard DOM interface for your DOM-based applications or as an alternative parser for the CSSBox rendering engine in order to add the PDF processing capability to CSSBox.

dyna4JDBC is a JDBC driver, that allows running alternative JVM language scripts (Groovy, JavaScript, Scala, Jython, Clojure, BeanShell, R (Renjin), JRuby etc.) or external console-oriented programs via the JDBC API. Skeletal implementation of interface javax.lang.model.util.Types, plus concrete realization backed by core Java Reflection API, akin to JEP 119. This module implements those methods in interface javax.lang.model.util.Types that pertain to the Java type system, plus it provides a method for resolving formal type parameters to actual type arguments. These methods have no equivalent in the Java Reflection API. The abstract skeletal implementation in this module is meant to be specialized for a particular javax.lang.model implementation. The abstraction makes this module well-suited to be used in projects that contain javax.lang.model as part of their domain model (for instance, implementations of alternative languages on top of the JVM).

The biblio transformation engine is a java framework developed by the Hellenic National Documentation Centre (EKT, www.ekt.gr) and consists of programmatic APIs for filtering and modifying records that are retrieved from various types of data sources (eg. databases, files, legacy data sources) as well as for outputing them in appropriate standards formats (eg. database files, txt, xml, Excel).
