Exclude files from analysis based on a cutoff date threshold. Any source file that was last modified prior to the configured cutoff date is excluded. This can be useful when you want to analyze the work done on an existing code base and measure the quality of new code/changes only. This way previous phases of the project will not impact the analysis.

The JAX-SB Generator is a comprehensive framework to facilitate the use of XML in software languages such as Java. This framework intends to provide tools that will allow a developer to easily integrate XML interoperability, bind XML Schemas, and analyze XML Schemas for use with any software. Currently there is only one language and one application that is supported: XML Binding in Java. Next on the agenda is the development of analysis tools for XML Schema Documents. For instance, imagine a tool that will allow you to determine whether an XSD complies to best-practices. This tool will: 1) produce warnings for structures that do not comply to best-practices, 2) tell the developer whether the logical structure can be transformed linearly to a form that complies to best-practices, and 3) to automatically produce an XSD that maintains the logical structure of the original document but now fully complies to best-practices. Azure Video Analyzer provides a platform to build intelligent video applications that span the edge and the cloud. The platform offers the capability to capture, record, and analyze live videos along with publishing the results, video, and video analytics, to Azure services in the cloud or the edge. It is designed to be an extensible platform, enabling you to connect different video analysis edge modules such as Cognitive services containers, custom edge modules built by you with open-source machine learning models or custom models trained with your own data. You can then use them to analyze live video without worrying about the complexity of building and running a live video pipeline. Use the client library for Video Analyzer Edge to simplify interactions with the Microsoft Azure IoT SDKs (https://github.com/azure/azure-iot-sdks) and programmatically construct pipeline topologies and live pipelines.

Tool used to analyze a set of classes and determine on what other classes they directly or indirectly depend. Typically this tool is used to compute the necessary and sufficient set of classes to include in a JAR file, for use in the class path of a client or service, or for use in the codebase of a client or service. The tool starts with a set of "root" classes and recursively computes a dependency graph, finding all of the classes referenced directly by the root classes, finding all of the classes referenced in turn by those classes, and so on, until no new classes are found or until classes that are not of interest are found. The normal output of the tool is a list of all of the classes in the dependency graph. The output from this command can be used as input to the jar tool, to create a JAR file containing precisely those classes.

The use of static analysis allows developers to analyze the source code of a program. On one hand, developers get accurate data representing any issues with the program. On the other hand, static analysis programs can have lengthy execution times. This results in a large amount of developer idleness, waiting for their program to execute. A developer's debug cycles can be particularly time consuming, when tweaking their analyses. They then have to wait around for long periods of time to test their minor changes. In order to avoid this needless idle time, we have looked into modularizing a static analysis program in order to cut down on time wasted.
