The purpose of this dependency library is to solve the problem of BCEL being removed in some versions of JDK, causing the woodpecker plug-in using BCEL encoding to report errors. It is recommended to write woodpecker plug-ins to use this library and remove the dependency of jdk.

Fork from apache common bcel 6.0-SNAPSHOT project. Since nobody is maintaining BCEL project so far, and Lifecycle AOP project depends on BCEL 6.0 apis, so iMadz releases net.imadz version BCEL 6.0 internally. DO NOT USE it unless you tested all the 6.0 related apis you need. net.imadz will not be responsible for maintaining this library.

Apache BCEL has not been updated since 2006, and the released version does not support JDK 1.5 features such as annotations. This library is an extension to BCEL (you will need BCEL to use it) that provides support for JDK 1.5 features along with some utilities. Everything is driven by the needs of my other projects.

BCEL utilities for inferring types in Java bytecode and for recomputing stack maps for a method. A stack map is compulsory from Java bytecode version 50 and higher. It specifies types at specific program points, ie., at targets of jumps. Compilers generate code with stack map tables, but code instrumentation might invalidate them. These utilities allow one to recompute stack map tables after code instrumentation with the BCEL library for bytecode instrumentation.

This project aims to build a command line tool that can create HTML view with syntax highlighted source code. It uses Jedit syntax highlighting engine and support all languages that are supported in JEdit.
