guava-bootstrap-jdk5 from group com.google.guava (version 17.0)

ExecutorService's type parameters changed between JDK5 and JDK6 in a way that makes it impossible for our invokeAll/invokeAny methods to match both at compile time. This project builds a JDK6-like copy of ExecutorService (but with JDK5 compiler settings to ensure that it will work with JRE5 at runtime). It also builds a version of AbstractExecutorService that is equivalent to a JDK5 version but using the JDK6 type parameters for the invokeAll/invokeAny methods just as with ExecutorService. This project's is then used in the bootstrap class path of Guava proper.

apacheds-jdbm-store from group org.apache.directory.server (version 1.5.7)

A JDBM entry store which does not have any dependency on core interfaces. The JDBM partition will use this store and build on it to adapt this to server specific partition interfaces. Having this separate module without dependencies on core interfaces makes it easier to avoid cyclic dependencies between modules. This is especially important for use within the bootstrap plugin which needs to build the schema partition used for bootstrapping the server.

keystone from group org.intelligents-ia (version 3.3)

Keystone project is a bootstrap that loads your application and its dependencies from a single archive. With his maven plugin and few line of configuration, your application will be available with all his dependencies in a single archive. The four main ideas which make the difference with other solution are: 1. all dependencies are not exploded in final archive, 'jar' file stay without any modification, so manifest also... 2. use our maven plugin to package all that you need (and we'll loading dependencies automatically for you) 3. you could load native library 4. you could restart your application Why named Keystone? 1. Stone wedge-shaped arch which maintains a vault [Architecture]. 2. A central element on which everything depends.

minitest from group rubygems (version 5.4.1)

minitest provides a complete suite of testing facilities supporting TDD, BDD, mocking, and benchmarking. "I had a class with Jim Weirich on testing last week and we were allowed to choose our testing frameworks. Kirk Haines and I were paired up and we cracked open the code for a few test frameworks... I MUST say that minitest is *very* readable / understandable compared to the 'other two' options we looked at. Nicely done and thank you for helping us keep our mental sanity." -- Wayne E. Seguin minitest/unit is a small and incredibly fast unit testing framework. It provides a rich set of assertions to make your tests clean and readable. minitest/spec is a functionally complete spec engine. It hooks onto minitest/unit and seamlessly bridges test assertions over to spec expectations. minitest/benchmark is an awesome way to assert the performance of your algorithms in a repeatable manner. Now you can assert that your newb co-worker doesn't replace your linear algorithm with an exponential one! minitest/mock by Steven Baker, is a beautifully tiny mock (and stub) object framework. minitest/pride shows pride in testing and adds coloring to your test output. I guess it is an example of how to write IO pipes too. :P minitest/unit is meant to have a clean implementation for language implementors that need a minimal set of methods to bootstrap a working test suite. For example, there is no magic involved for test-case discovery. "Again, I can't praise enough the idea of a testing/specing framework that I can actually read in full in one sitting!" -- Piotr Szotkowski Comparing to rspec: rspec is a testing DSL. minitest is ruby. -- Adam Hawkins, "Bow Before MiniTest" minitest doesn't reinvent anything that ruby already provides, like: classes, modules, inheritance, methods. This means you only have to learn ruby to use minitest and all of your regular OO practices like extract-method refactorings still apply.
