jburg from group net.sourceforge.jburg (version 1.10.3)
A bottom-up rewrite machine is a compiler construction tool that is often used in the compiler's back end to
convert a tree-structured representation of a program into machine code -- or, in Java's case, bytecode.
JBurg can also be used as a general-purpose dynamic programming engine. JBurg is descended from iburg-class
BURGs, described in Fraser, Hanson, and Proebsting's paper, "Engineering a Simple, Efficient Code Generator
Generator."
JBurg brings similar O(N) minimum-cost tree rewriting capabilities to Java, and also allows the programmer to
specify transitions between non-terminal states, that are significantly more powerful than iburg's transitive
closures: JBurg transformation rules allow the transformation to inject additional program logic, which makes
a JBurg specification more like a grammar than like a list of pattern-matching rules.

clirr-maven-plugin from group org.neo4j.build.plugins (version 1.0.1)
This is a specialized version of the Clirr Maven Plugin. It adds capabilities for excluding specific
error types, as well as separating code into three, rather than two, subgroups:
Internal code (no checks)
Externally invoked code (Annotated with an "externally invoked" annotation, same as Externally implemented, but adding methods to interfaces
and abstract classes is allowed)
Externally implemented code (Assumed default. Full backwards compatibility required *unless* an interface is annotated with
a defined adaptor annotation, in which case full backwards compatibility is required for the adaptor class, but the rules of @ExternallyInvoked
apply to the interface itself)
Clirr is a tool that checks Java libraries for binary and source compatibility with older releases.
Basically you give it two sets of jar files and Clirr dumps out a list of changes in the public API.
The clirr-maven-plugin can be configured to break the build, if it detects incompatible api changes.
In a continuous integration process, the clirr-maven-plugin can automatically prevent accidental
introduction of binary or source compatibility problems. Additionally, the plugin can generate
a report as part of the generated site.

xapi-gwt-api from group net.wetheinter (version 0.5)
All Gwt jre emulation code goes in this module,
as well as any gwt-compiler overrides.
xapi-gwt-api.jar must come before gwt-dev.jar on your compile classpath.
A plugin is being built to automatically adjust maven runtime dependencies,
but users of ant or IDEs will need to ensure the super jar comes before
gwt-dev. We will petition gwt to accept our mods, but, until then,
if you want bleeding edge features, you gotta do bleeding edge configuration.
Code that ties directly into other modules, like java.lang.reflect for
the reflection submodule, have their super-source here, and generators or
other implementations in their own modules.
This is to maintain consistency in what is or isn't whitelisted in XApi GWT.
Some modules, like appengine, provide dependency-specific super-source
in their own packages. This module is for jre, junit and core XApi services.

HermiT from group com.github.ansell.hermit (version 1.3.8.2-ansell)
HermiT is reasoner for ontologies written using the Web
Ontology Language (OWL). Given an OWL file, HermiT can determine whether or
not the ontology is consistent, identify subsumption relationships between
classes, and much more.
This is the maven build of HermiT and is designed for people who wish to use
HermiT from within the OWL API. It is not officially supported by the HermiT
development team, but was built initially for use with the Clojure-OWL
library. It is built using the HermiT source tree without modification.
There have been some additions to the test source tree to account for
differences between the maven and ant environment; these are small and
(hopefully) maintainable.
The version number of this package is a composite of the HermiT version and
an value representing releases of this packaged version. So, 1.3.7.1 is the
first release of the mavenized version of HermiT based on the 1.3.7 release
of HermiT.
This package includes the Jautomata library
(http://jautomata.sourceforge.net/), and builds with it directly. This
library appears to be no longer under active development, and so a "fork"
seems appropriate. No development is intended or anticipated on this code
base.

httpchannel-api from group com.rogiel.httpchannel (version 1.0.0)
Module that defines the HttpChannel API. HttpChannels abstract complex download and upload steps into a simple and easy to use NIO Channel. NIO Channels can be wrapped into an InputStream or OutputStream and used in any way you may find possible to. Aside from that, Channels can be used natively in most next-gen libraries, meaning that you don't even need to wrap anything, just start writing or reading data to or from the channel wth a ByteBuffer.
Anyone using the library should try to rely on code from this module only and, only if necessary, on configuration classes that are implementation specific. Relying on any other resource or class is considered an error and should NOT be done.
One of the most interesting usages of channels for uploads and download is that you can easily copy data straight from one channel to the other, with less than 10 lines of code! Also, channels allows the implementation of a "tee" mechanism, in which data redden from a single channel can be copied to several other channels on the fly!

prolobjectlink-jpi from group io.github.prolobjectlink (version 1.1)
Java Prolog Interface (JPI) is an Application Provider Interface (API) for interaction between Java and Prolog programming languages. Is a bidirectional interface that communicate Java applications with Prolog program or database and Prolog procedures with Java class and methods.
JPI is an abstraction layer over concrete prolog drivers over Prolog Engines. This API define all mechanism to interact with any Prolog Engine and maintain the application independent to a specific underlying engine. JPI have several connectors to open source prolog engines like SWI, YAP, XSB native engines and tuProlog, jTrolog, jLog Java based prolog engines.
JPI study all related Java-Prolog integration libraries and take the betters features from each solution with the propose to achieve a common integration interface. The last feature allows switch the under laying Prolog Engine driver and the application code still be the same.
JPI run over any Java Virtual Machine that support Java SE 5 or above. The project was tested over HotSpot, Open J9 and JRockit Virtual Machines over Operating Systems like Windows (7,8,10), Linux (Debian, Ubuntu) and Mac OS X. Can be deployed on Servlets Containers like Jetty, Tomcat or Glassfish Application Server.
JPI can be include in any Java Project using the commonest Java Integration Development Enviroment (IDE) like Eclipse, Netbeans, IntelijIDEA and so on.
JPI is developed and maintained by Prolobjectlink Project an open source initiative for build logic based applications using Prolog like fundamental Logic Programming Language in the persistence layer and application programming.

antlr3-maven-plugin from group org.antlr (version 3.5.3)
This is the brand new, re-written from scratch plugin for ANTLR v3.
Previous valiant efforts all suffered from being unable to modify the ANTLR Tool
itself to provide support not just for Maven oriented things but any other tool
that might wish to invoke ANTLR without resorting to the command line interface.
Rather than try to shoe-horn new code into the existing Mojo (in fact I think that
by incorporating a patch supplied by someone I ended up with tow versions of the
Mojo, I elected to rewrite everything from scratch, including the documentation, so
that we might end up with a perfect Mojo that can do everything that ANTLR v3 supports
such as imported grammar processing, proper support for library directories and
locating token files from generated sources, and so on.
In the end I decided to also change the the ANTLR Tool.java code so that it
would be the provider of all the things that a build tool needs, rather than
delegating things to 5 different tools. So, things like dependencies, dependency
sorting, option tracking, generating sources and so on are all folded back
in to ANTLR's Tool.java code, where they belong, and they now provide a
public interface to anyone that might want to interface with them.
One other goal of this rewrite was to completely document the whole thing
to death. Hence even this pom has more comments than funcitonal elements,
in case I get run over by a bus or fall off a cliff while skiing.
