The API Signatures project contains a number of projects which generate signatures of various APIs, such as the Java Runtime. These signatures are generated by and consumed by the Animal Sniffer project.

This project provides a EMF (see: http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/) meta model and a java api for the treetagger data format produced and consumed by the linguistic tagging tool TreeTagger by Helmut Schmid (see: http://www.cis.uni-muenchen.de/~schmid/tools/TreeTagger/).

Cacher provides a simple interface (Cache) that is designed to wrap a 3rd party caching client/library (eg. spymemcached). This interface is then consumed by the FetchManager which houses logic to standarize how cached values are stored and retrieved. If a value is already cached then it is simply returned, otherwise a Fetcher (either FetchSingle or FetchMultiple) is asked how to produce the value, which is then cached for subsequent requests.

The Attribution Maven Plugin is a tool for producing information about a project's dependencies, in a way that can be consumed by external reporting tools. It currently leverages the Maven Project Info Reports Plugin (https://maven.apache.org/components/plugins/maven-project-info-reports-plugin/) to obtain all of a project's data, and then output the information to an XML file, such as: target/attribution.xml. This plugin came from the need to get some of the same information produced by the Maven Project Info Reports Plugin, and have it ready to be consumed by tools which may require input in a certain format, such as a CSV. By producing an attribution XML file, scripts can be created to translate the data into these other consumable formats.
