Sample applications to demonstrate the usage of various TrueZIP module APIs. Some of these samples use rather advanced or exotic features which makes them more complex than necessary for a typical application. By design, the sample applications use all file system drivers which can be located at runtime. The OpenSocial Explorer is a tool to help developers learn how to build OpenSocial gadgets. The goal of the OpenSocial Explorer is to demonstrate how to use all the features and APIs that are part of the OpenSocial specification. Besides the samples, the OpenSocial Explorer has an editor which allows developers to tweak the gadget to learn more about the specific features and APIs the sample is demonstrating. After modifying the sample the OpenSocial Explorer allows developers to re-render the gadget to see how the changes effect the sample.

This package contains several example programs of the usage of the Chips-n-Salsa library. Chips-n-Salsa is a Java library of customizable, hybridizable, iterative, parallel, stochastic, and self-adaptive local search algorithms. JPT is a Java library that enables representing and generating permutations and sequences, as well as performing computation on permutations and sequences. It includes implementations of a variety of permutation distance metrics as well as distance metrics on sequences (i.e., Strings, arrays, and other ordered data types). In addition to programs demonstrating the usage of the JPT library, the jpt-examples package also contains programs for replicating the experiments from a few published papers that utilized the library or implementations on which the library is based.
