The Jeuron Application Platform is a lightweight framework to assemble software components intended to support multiple project and deployment scenarios while also providing an environment for testing and debugging. The platform is comprised of a set of packages which provide transport, messaging, configuration, and execution services designed to create a configurable, scalable, and distributed application environment. The low resource model permits the platform to be instantiated during each build cycle and to be deployed at all levels of the application hierarchy such as application servers, web servers, and mobile or wired workstations.

HermiT is reasoner for ontologies written using the Web Ontology Language (OWL). Given an OWL file, HermiT can determine whether or not the ontology is consistent, identify subsumption relationships between classes, and much more. This is the maven build of HermiT and is designed for people who wish to use HermiT from within the OWL API. It is now versioned in the main HermiT version repository, although not officially supported by the HermiT developers. The version number of this package is a composite of the HermiT version and an value representing releases of this packaged version. So, 1.3.7.1 is the first release of the mavenized version of HermiT based on the 1.3.7 release of HermiT. This package includes the Jautomata library (http://jautomata.sourceforge.net/), and builds with it directly. This library appears to be no longer under active development, and so a "fork" seems appropriate. No development is intended or anticipated on this code base.

The goal of quality-test is to provide a small Java library for basic code quality checks within unit tests. It is discouraged to use quality-test in production code. The checks provided in this library are designed to be used in unit-tests. The checks and utilities provided in this package check static properties of classes, for example whether classes are marked final or constructors are private. Additionally, there are utils to give additional code coverage for private constructors. Quality-Test often can be used together with Google Reflections (http://code.google.com/p/reflections/) to perform checks such as, assure that every class in package *.dto.* is final or make sure that no class in the package *.controller.* contains any non-final static variables.

TagSoup is a SAX-compliant parser written in Java that, instead of parsing well-formed or valid XML, parses HTML as it is found in the wild: poor, nasty and brutish, though quite often far from short. TagSoup is designed for people who have to process this stuff using some semblance of a rational application design. By providing a SAX interface, it allows standard XML tools to be applied to even the worst HTML. TagSoup also includes a command-line processor that reads HTML files and can generate either clean HTML or well-formed XML that is a close approximation to XHTML.

XBIS is an encoding format for XML documents that is fully convertible to and from text, with information set equivalence between the original document text and regenerated document text. It's intended for use in transmitting XML documents between application components, and is therefore designed for processing speed. The current Java language implementation offers several times the performance of SAX2 parsers working from text documents across a wide range of document types and sizes, and across JVMs tested, while also providing a substantial reduction in document size for most types of XML documents.

The Software Testing Automation Framework (STAF) is an open source, multi-platform, multi-language framework designed around the idea of reusable components, called services (such as process invocation, resource management, logging, and monitoring). STAF removes the tedium of building an automation infrastructure, thus enabling you to focus on building your automation solution. The STAF framework provides the foundation upon which to build higher level solutions, and provides a pluggable approach supported across a large variety of platforms and languages. JFace is a UI toolkit with classes for handling many common UI programming tasks. JFace is window-system-independent in both its API and implementation, and is designed to work with SWT without hiding it. JFace includes the usual UI toolkit components of image and font registries, text, dialog, preference and wizard frameworks, and progress reporting for long running operations. Two of its more interesting features are actions and viewers. The action mechanism allows user commands to be defined independently from their exact whereabouts in the UI. Viewers are model based adapters for certain SWT widgets, simplifying the presentation of application data structured as lists, tables or trees.

Shades is an Object/Relational Mapping (ORM) framework that works in conjunction with JDBC APIs. Instead of relying on XML or annotations for configuration, Shades relies on an interface called ORMapping. This makes shades simple and flexible. Shades has no new transaction model nor Connection management which you must learn. You control the transactions, and the Connection that Shades uses, through plain JDBC interfaces. Shades is designed to work well with modern web development frameworks like Tapestry and Wicket.

The Java Algebra System (JAS) is an object oriented, type safe and multi-threaded approach to computer algebra. JAS provides a well designed software library using generic types for algebraic computations implemented in the Java programming language using the JVM runtime infrastructure. The library can be used as any other Java software package or it can be used interactively or interpreted through a jython (Java Python) or jruby (Java Ruby) front end, there is also an Android App based on Ruboto (jruby for Android). The focus of JAS is at the moment on commutative, solvable and non-commutative polynomials, power series, Groebner bases, factorization, real and complex roots and applications. By the use of Java as implementation language JAS is 64-bit and multi-core CPU ready and can make use of mutiple CPUs where available. JAS can run on a wide variety of devices ranging from Android to compute clusters (using MPJ a Java Message Passing Interface (MPI) or OpenMPI).
