Quark (/ˈkwɔrk/ or /ˈkwɑrk/) is a federation layer over the databases in a analytics stack. It provides a federated schema that maps tables in multiple database systems. With the help of the federated schema, Quark makes it possible to define and use materialized views, olap cubes and other relationships between tables stored in different databases. Quark comes with a simple execution layer that redirects queries to use materialized views or cubes. Quark is distributed as a JDBC jar and will work with most tools that integrate through JDBC.

The eAudit4j library provides a simple and pluggable solution for auditing in Java. This library uses the concept of "audit streams", with a stream being comprised of one or more "audit processors". An application can configure an unlimited number of audit streams, each with a different configuration. When an application wants to audit an event, it will create and populate an "Event" instance, and then submit the event to the audit stream for processing and persitance. Depending on the audit stream configuration and the processors being used in the audit stream configuration, processing my be synchronous or asynchronous, and utilize different security features.

Hottentot is a simple and easy to use RPC Framework. It has its own IDL and generates source codes for different programming languages. C++ and Java are currently fully supported but Python and C support will be added soon. It also has a Serialization Framework which can be used without RPC stub generation feature to serialize objects in binary format.

The Federation SAIL allows multiple datasets to be virtually combined into a single dataset. The Federation SAIL combines multiple RDF stores that may exist on a remote server or are embedded in the same JVM. The Federation uses query optimizations to distribute sections of the query to different members based on the data contained in each of the members. These results are then joined together within the federation to provide the same result as if all the data was co-located within a single repository.
