The biblio transformation engine is a java framework developed by the Hellenic National Documentation Centre (EKT, www.ekt.gr) and consists of programmatic APIs for filtering and modifying records that are retrieved from various types of data sources (eg. databases, files, legacy data sources) as well as for outputing them in appropriate standards formats (eg. database files, txt, xml, Excel). The framework includes independent abstract modules that are executed seperately, offering in many cases alternative choices to the user depending of the input data set, the transformation workflow that needs to be executed and the output format that needs to be generated.

This plugin provides integration between Spring and Maven. Plugin goals support loading a Spring context XML file as part of the Maven build lifecycle. The XML file can be on the local file system or be accessible via any URL Spring's resource loading mechanism can understand. Spring's "classpath:context.xml" style notation is supported. Annotated Java classes can also be used to load a Spring context. Maven properties are injected into the Spring context (both XML and annotation style) as a java.util.Properties bean named "mavenProperties". Maven properties are also registered as a top level PropertySource so that Spring's placeholder resolution framework automatically considers them. This subproject is an extension of the Struts tag library. Each JSP custom tag in this library is a subclass of an associated tag in the Struts tag library. One difference is that this tag library does not use "rtexprvalues", it uses the expression evaluation engine in the Jakarta Taglibs implementation of the JSP Standard Tag Library (version 1.0) to evaluate attribute values. In addition, some of the Struts tags were not ported to this library, as it was determined that their functionality was entirely supplied by the JSTL. These particular Struts tags, and the reason for their non-porting will be described in the documentation for this library. In order to fully understand the correct utilization of this library, you must understand the use and operation of the Struts tag library, and the use and operation of the JavaServer Pages Standard Tag Library (hereafter called the "JSTL"), along with the expression language (sometimes called the "EL") used for evaluating attribute values.

A NSGA-II implementation using Java. This implementation of NSGA-II algorithm is in pure reference to the original published paper. This is not an effort to convert the originally implemented C code in Java. The original C code by the authors has not be referred to while writing this implementation. This is a fully customizable implementation of the NSGA-II algorithm, made as generic as possible. This documentation assumes you have basic understanding of the NSGA-II algorithm. Apart from the core concepts of the algorithm, everything else in this package can be implemented as per the user's choice and plugged into the algorithm dynamically. Since NSGA-II is more like a set of protocols to follow as an algorithm rather than a concrete implementation of every aspect, this package has been re-written from scratch keeping complete customizability in mind. Apart from the core concepts of the algorithm, everything is considered to be a plugin external to the algorithm that can be implemented by the user and dynamically plugged into the algorithm during runtime as needed. This opens up the possibility of the package to be used simply as a PoC or be converted into something much more complex according to the users needs.
