NoHR (Nova Hybrid Reasoner) is a plug-in for the ontology editor Protégé that allows its users to query knowledge bases composed of both an Ontology in OWL 2 EL or QL and a set of Reasoning Rules. Using a top-down reasoning approach, which means that only the part of the ontology and rules that is relevant for the query is actually evaluated, NoHR respectively combines the capabilities of ELK for OWL 2 EL and a dedicated direct translation for OWL 2 QL with the rule engine XSB Prolog to deliver very fast interactive response times. NoHR is the first hybrid reasoner of its kind for Protégé. NoHR is also distributed as an API.

GWTUpload is a library for uploading files to web servers, showing a progress bar with real information about the process (file size, bytes transferred, etc). It uses ajax requests to ask the web server for the upload progress. It has two components written in java, the server side with servlet and utility classes, and the client side that is compiled into javascript using gwt. GWTUpload-gae is a library with aditional classes needed for using GwtUpload in Google Application Engine (GAE). JSUpload is the client library but compiled and exported into javascript, so users without Gwt skills can use it directly in their web pages. It includes a bunch of useful examples to learn how to use the library and see its features.

The biblio transformation engine is a java framework developed by the Hellenic National Documentation Centre (EKT, www.ekt.gr) and consists of programmatic APIs for filtering and modifying records that are retrieved from various types of data sources (eg. databases, files, legacy data sources) as well as for outputing them in appropriate standards formats (eg. database files, txt, xml, Excel). The framework includes independent abstract modules that are executed seperately, offering in many cases alternative choices to the user depending of the input data set, the transformation workflow that needs to be executed and the output format that needs to be generated.

Siena is a persistence abstraction layer made in Java with various implementations: * siena-jdbc: persists objects into a relational database using JDBC (status: deeply tested) * siena-gae: persists objects into the Google App Engine's datastore using its low-level API (status: beta) * siena-sdb: persists objects using Amazon's SimpleDB (very experimental) * siena-remote: persists objects remotely using a remote web application that uses siena. (planning) Siena is also: * Intrusive. You make a class persistent by extending a certain class. Relationships are defined also in an intrusive way. * Simple. Simplicity is the most important thing. * Limited. Due to the simplicity there are several unsupported things such as JOINs. * Extensible. There are two interfaces you can implement on your own way.

The ServiceMix Drools component provides JBI integration to the Drools Rules Engine. It can be used to deploy a rules set that will implement a router or an actual service. A router will mostly act as a transparent proxy between the consumer and the target service provider mad will mostly be implemented by the jbi.route(uri) method below. This method creates a new exchange identical to the one received by the component and will send it to the specified destination. You can also send back a Fault if needed. A router can also be implemented by using directly the JBI Apis (available with the jbi helper) by using the provided client.

This service implements the Indexer and Searcher interface of WebLab and connect to a remote SOLR engine in order to realize the functions. The connection is mandatory and thus the remote SOLR server should be started beforehand. Configuration of the SOLR server URL is found in src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/cxf-servlet.xml . See in particular "indexerServiceBean" and "searcherServiceBean". Moreover, the service implements several "Analyser" services that could be included in a complete search chain in order to: - enrich a ResultSet with metadata about Hits (see resultSetMetaEnricherServiceBean) - highlight snippet in ResultSet (see highlighterServiceBean) - provide facets related to the current results (see facetSuggestionServiceBean) - suggest spell correction of the original query (see spellSuggestionServiceBean)

StringTemplate is a java template engine for generating source code, web pages, emails, or any other formatted text output. StringTemplate is particularly good at multi-targeted code generators, multiple site skins, and internationalization/localization. It evolved over years of effort developing jGuru.com. StringTemplate also generates the stringtemplate website: http://www.stringtemplate.org and powers the ANTLR v3 code generator. Its distinguishing characteristic is that unlike other engines, it strictly enforces model-view separation. Strict separation makes websites and code generators more flexible and maintainable; it also provides an excellent defense against malicious template authors. There are currently about 600 StringTemplate source downloads a month.
