JSefa (Java Simple exchange format api) is a simple library for stream-based serialization of java objects to XML, CSV, FLR or any other format and back again using an iterator-style interface independent of the serialization format. The mapping between java object types and types of the serialization format (e. g. xml complex element types) can be defined either by annotating the java classes or programmatically using a simple API. The current implementation supports XML, CSV and FLR - for XML it is based on JSR 173 for the standard version and XmlPull for the android version.

Drift can be used to serialize and deserialze objects in a cross language manner. It will generate code based on a grammar and provide hooks for data migrations across different grammar versions. In many ways very similar to Thrift (original code base) and protobuffers. It's focus is serialization and data migration rather than RPC and service implementation though.

The Java Data Objects 2.0 (JDO) API is a standard interface-based Java model abstraction of persistence, developed as Java Specification Request JSR 243 under the auspices of the Java Community Process. The JDO TCK is a test suite designed to test implementations of the Java Data Objects specification. In order to claim compatibility with JDO, an implementation must pass all relevant tests of the JDOTCK. NOTE!! There are no unit tests in this project.

API for stackable stateful encoders and decoders. Such codec interfaces allow for the efficient processing of data as it is made available while maintaining small actively processing footprints. Of course these aspects depend on the implementation as well however this API standardizes the minimum set of interfaces associated with codec's that are stateful. Until this API is added to the commons-codec project several interfaces and classes here are duplicated to minimize the number of dependencies: namely a dependency on commons-codec will be avoided.

The Infinispan Spring Integration project provides Spring 6 integration for Infinispan, a high performance distributed cache. Its primary features are * An implementation of org.springframework.cache.CacheManager, Spring's central caching abstraction, backed by Infinispan's EmbeddedCacheManager. To be used if your Spring-powered application and Infinispan are colocated, i.e. running within the same VM. * An implementation of org.springframework.cache.CacheManager backed by Infinispan's RemoteCacheManager. To bes used if your Spring-powered application accesses Infinispan remotely, i.e. over the network. * An implementation of org.springframework.cache.CacheManager backed by a CacheContainer reference. To be used if your Spring- powered application needs access to a CacheContainer defined outside the application (e.g. retrieved from JNDI) * Spring namespace support allowing shortcut definitions for all the components above In addition, Infinispan Spring Integration offers various FactoryBeans for facilitating creation of Infinispan core classes - Cache, CacheManager, ... - within a Spring context.
