Morphia is an Object-Document Mapper, written in Java for MongoDB. Application developer authoring code in Java and using the mongo-java-driver can use Morphia to map POJO classes into MongoDB documents and vice-versa. Morphia provides a Datastore, Query, and DAO-style interfaces including CRUD services in a type-safe manner.

This is a simple Web Service Client library to call wide variety of web service behind HTTP. In theory it can support any interface or payload. On the request side, to convert java object to HTTP request components (URL, headers, body), templating is used which allows it to call XML, JSON, SOAP, REST or anyother custom interface. On the response side, it uses pluggable parser and a mapper to only extract the fields that are of interest for the client program. The parser currently supports JSON and XML and returns a collections tree.

The Interaction Model Mapper enables a code-first approach to the development of a skill by abstracting the interaction model. Alexa types such as Intents and Slots are defined as Java classes, and corresponding interaction model data such as sample utterances, prompts, synonyms, etc. are stored in resource bundles. A skill is then constructed from a collection of these entities, and the interaction model is rendered from the CLI. This abstraction enables developers to componentize and share parts of their skill with others and promotes a standard software build/deploy lifecycle for skills.
