tagsoup from group com.github.fansu.tagsoup (version 1.0.5)

TagSoup is a SAX-compliant parser written in Java that, instead of parsing well-formed or valid XML, parses HTML as it is found in the wild: poor, nasty and brutish, though quite often far from short. TagSoup is designed for people who have to process this stuff using some semblance of a rational application design. By providing a SAX interface, it allows standard XML tools to be applied to even the worst HTML. TagSoup also includes a command-line processor that reads HTML files and can generate either clean HTML or well-formed XML that is a close approximation to XHTML.

xapi-core-parent from group net.wetheinter (version 0.5)

This is the main aggregator for all implementation code shared between modules. Each module contains one or more service interfaces, exposed statically using "X_" prefixed classes. Core modules will define their API interfaces, their static accessor, and often a "plain-jre" default implementation which can be replaced by injection override. There must be zero external dependencies in any core modules. A low-performance, low-feature default is preferred over thick, dependency-ridden shared inherits.

quality-test from group net.sf.qualitycheck (version 1.3)

The goal of quality-test is to provide a small Java library for basic code quality checks within unit tests. It is discouraged to use quality-test in production code. The checks provided in this library are designed to be used in unit-tests. The checks and utilities provided in this package check static properties of classes, for example whether classes are marked final or constructors are private. Additionally, there are utils to give additional code coverage for private constructors. Quality-Test often can be used together with Google Reflections (http://code.google.com/p/reflections/) to perform checks such as, assure that every class in package *.dto.* is final or make sure that no class in the package *.controller.* contains any non-final static variables.

oz-generic-levenshtein from group de.linuxusers.levenshtein (version 0.4.0)

YET ANOTHER IMPLEMENTATION OF LEVENSHTEIN DISTANCE GenericLevenshtein is an implementation of Minimum Edit Distance, also called Levenshtein Distance, written by Ramon Ziai and Niels Ott. This algorithm is very popular and it is often used to compute the similarity of strings. The difference in the presented implementation is that it can operate on sequences of any Java object implementing equals(Object). So no matter if you want to compare genome sequences or sequences of numbers, or just strings, here you go! Furthermore, the costs of the replace, insert, and delete operations can be customized by implementing the simple WeightCalculator<T> interface. In that case it is not a requirement to rely on equals(Object) as your implementation can do whatever you like it to do in oder to compare objects.

multiBoostAB from group nz.ac.waikato.cms.weka (version 1.0.2)

Class for boosting a classifier using the MultiBoosting method. MultiBoosting is an extension to the highly successful AdaBoost technique for forming decision committees. MultiBoosting can be viewed as combining AdaBoost with wagging. It is able to harness both AdaBoost's high bias and variance reduction with wagging's superior variance reduction. Using C4.5 as the base learning algorithm, Multi-boosting is demonstrated to produce decision committees with lower error than either AdaBoost or wagging significantly more often than the reverse over a large representative cross-section of UCI data sets. It offers the further advantage over AdaBoost of suiting parallel execution. For more information, see Geoffrey I. Webb (2000). MultiBoosting: A Technique for Combining Boosting and Wagging. Machine Learning. Vol.40(No.2).

lazyBayesianRules from group nz.ac.waikato.cms.weka (version 1.0.2)

Lazy Bayesian Rules Classifier. The naive Bayesian classifier provides a simple and effective approach to classifier learning, but its attribute independence assumption is often violated in the real world. Lazy Bayesian Rules selectively relaxes the independence assumption, achieving lower error rates over a range of learning tasks. LBR defers processing to classification time, making it a highly efficient and accurate classification algorithm when small numbers of objects are to be classified. For more information, see: Zijian Zheng, G. Webb (2000). Lazy Learning of Bayesian Rules. Machine Learning. 4(1):53-84.

jtest from group com.parasoft.jtest (version 8.0.122)

Parasoft Jtest is a comprehensive Java testing product for development teams building Java EE, SOA, Web, and other Java applications. It promotes a “test early and often” strategy so that quality is built into the code, and bugs are exposed upon introduction—when fixing them requires minimal rework. By providing fast and easy ways to apply a comprehensive set of testing techniques, Jtest gives even the busiest teams a practical way to ensure that their code works as expected.

jburg from group net.sourceforge.jburg (version 1.10.3)

A bottom-up rewrite machine is a compiler construction tool that is often used in the compiler's back end to convert a tree-structured representation of a program into machine code -- or, in Java's case, bytecode. JBurg can also be used as a general-purpose dynamic programming engine. JBurg is descended from iburg-class BURGs, described in Fraser, Hanson, and Proebsting's paper, "Engineering a Simple, Efficient Code Generator Generator." JBurg brings similar O(N) minimum-cost tree rewriting capabilities to Java, and also allows the programmer to specify transitions between non-terminal states, that are significantly more powerful than iburg's transitive closures: JBurg transformation rules allow the transformation to inject additional program logic, which makes a JBurg specification more like a grammar than like a list of pattern-matching rules.
