This package contains several example programs of the usage of the JavaPermutationTools (JPT) library. JPT is a Java library that enables representing and generating permutations and sequences, as well as performing computation on permutations and sequences. It includes implementations of a variety of permutation distance metrics as well as distance metrics on sequences (i.e., Strings, arrays, and other ordered data types). In addition to programs demonstrating the usage of the JPT library, the jpt-examples package also contains programs for replicating the experiments from a few published papers that utilized the library or implementations on which the library is based. JPT's source code is maintained on GitHub, and the prebuilt jars of the library can be imported from Maven Central using maven or other build tools. The purpose of the package jpt-examples is to demonstrate usage of the major functionality of the JPT library. scala-tptp-parser is a library for parsing the input languages of the TPTP infrastructure for knowledge representation and reasoning. The package contains a data structure for the abstract syntax tree (AST) of the parsed input as well as the parser for the different language of the TPTP, see http://tptp.org for details. In particular, parser are available for: - THF (TH0/TH1): Monomorphic and polymorphic higher-order logic, - TFF (TF0/TF1): Monomorphic and polymorphic typed first-order logic, including extended TFF (TFX), - FOF: Untyped first-order logic, - TCF: Typed clause-normal form, - CNF: (Untyped) clause-normal form, and - TPI: TPTP Process Instruction language. The parser was initially based on v7.4.0.3 of the TPTP syntax BNF (http://tptp.org/TPTP/SyntaxBNF.html), but is continuously updated to keep track of TPTP language updates.

Easy to install library for adding dynamic display, control and configuration of java.util.logging to any swing based application. Useful for debugging apps in production situations; can interactively configure logging while an application is running including adding a handler to save logging output to a file. Changes made to an application's default/startup logging can be saved and automatically applied at startup. LogMan "single" library package for use in swing apps. The jar can be executed, "java -jar xxx", for a demo of the library. See com.raelity.logman.demo.Main for an example of adding the library to a swing app.

Pdf2Dom is a PDF parser that converts the documents to a HTML DOM representation. The obtained DOM tree may be then serialized to a HTML file or further processed. The inline CSS definitions contained in the resulting document are used for making the HTML page as similar as possible to the PDF input. A command-line utility for converting the PDF documents to HTML is included in the distribution package. Pdf2Dom may be also used as an independent Java library with a standard DOM interface for your DOM-based applications or as an alternative parser for the CSSBox rendering engine in order to add the PDF processing capability to CSSBox.

This ApplicationProperties Java package provides a fast and easily configurable application.properties loader that mimics some key features of the Spring Boot application.properties loader. This package allows for multi-level overloading of properties based on a basename and optional suffix by searching the classpath, optional configurable file paths along with the JNDI server container context. The class [ApplicationPropertiesConfig](src/main/java/com/lyders/application-properties/ApplicationPropertiesConfig.java) controls the features of the overloading of properties such as the base name of the properties file, an optional suffix that allows for the loading of environment-specific or scenario-specific property files as needed. The following features are supported: * Names of properties files can be customized * Locations of properties files can be customized. The following path types are supported: * class path * file system paths * JNDI environment naming context (e.g., Servlet/JSP running under Tomcat) * Environment-specific property files can override the values in default properties files via a "suffix"

JSON is a light-weight, language independent, data interchange format. See http://www.JSON.org/ The files in this package implement JSON encoders/decoders in Java. It also includes the capability to convert between JSON and XML, HTTP headers, Cookies, and CDL. This is a reference implementation. There is a large number of JSON packages in Java. Perhaps someday the Java community will standardize on one. Until then, choose carefully. The license includes this restriction: "The software shall be used for good, not evil." If your conscience cannot live with that, then choose a different package.

JavaUtil is a utility library to speed the development of Java software. We developed it over multiple years during our internal development efforts, and it has reached a point of stability where we have decided to make it available to the outside world. The JavaUtil package aims to fill in the gaps of the Apache Commons and similar utility libraries out there. Features include convenience classes for string, collections, arrays, dates, iterators, colors, logging, unit testing, a little bit of basic statistics, database queries, caching and more.

JTransforms is the first, open source, multithreaded FFT library written in pure Java. Currently, four types of transforms are available: Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), Discrete Sine Transform (DST) and Discrete Hartley Transform (DHT). The code is derived from General Purpose FFT Package written by Takuya Ooura and from Java FFTPack written by Baoshe Zhang. This version has been modified to daemonize threads and stop any application using the library waiting after execution has finished, and is based on revision 29 of the svn version of the code from 2014-05-18.
