This archetype is creating a full Sling Project composed of a OSGi Bundle and a Content Package which can be deployed to the Sling using specific profiles. It also contains two shadow folders that provide example code / files which are not part of the default build but can be easily copied into the active modules. If the project was created with the **optionAll** property set to **y** (yes) then an **All** package is created with acts as the single deployment unit of all bundles and packages in that project. Otherwise the **ui.apps** package is the deployment unit.

This project has a lot of business classes to work with genes and related named entities. Genes are part of a GeneDocument and may have gold IDs as well as mapped/predicted IDs. Another large part are species because most (all?) gene ID databases are species specific. So there are also classes or members to represent species mentions and the assignment of species IDs (taxonomy IDs) to genes. There is little to no business logic herein. This project is only useful as building block in other projects dealing with species assignment, gene ID mapping or similar efforts.

The AppOptics Java instrumentation agent jar file. This artifact provides a convenient way to download the agent jar from public Maven repository. Please take note that this should NOT be included as a part of the project dependencies. Rather, this artifact should be integrated into the build process by using extra step such as the "copy" goal of "maven-dependency-plugin". With distributed systems being developed as a part of the cloud age. With focus on performance associated with an application dependent on one DB instance, there is a need to bring down the dependency to a database to generate unique numbers for creating a private key when lots of data needs to be stored in the database tables. This library is intended to provide a way of generating unique numbers on the fly in a JAVA based distributed system. This is not a new concept but this library helps in keeping you focused on the business logic that you need to develop for your applications rather than spending time on how this is done. Typically applications powered by RDBMS can leverage the benefit as instant scalability might not be available for these setups when the load to the system spikes.

This library allows your Java program to interface very easily with the Python world. It uses the Pyro protocol to call methods on remote objects. (See https://pyro5.readthedocs.io/). Pyrolite only implements part of the client side Pyro library, hence its name 'lite'... So if you don't need Pyro's full feature set, Pyrolite may be a good choice to connect java or .NET and python. Version 5.0 changes: support Pyro5 wire protocol. Dropped support of Pyro4 (stick to version 4.xx for that).

The MAJ API (pronounced madge) is a pure Java API for creating, reading, manipulating and writing MXF (SMPTE ST 377), AAF structured storage and Reg-XML (SMPTE ST 2001) files. MXF files are commonly used as a container for professional media file formats and AAF is supported by a number of professional video editing packages. MXF and Reg-XML are used as part of the Interoperable Mastering Format suite of specifications.

Information extraction is the process of identifying specified classes of entities, relations, and events in natural language text – creating structured data from unstructured input. JET, the Java Extraction Toolkit, developed at New York University over the past fifteen years, provides a rich set of tools for research and education in information extraction from English text. These include standard language processing tools such as a tokenizer, sentence segmenter, part-of-speech tagger, name tagger, regular-expression pattern matcher, and dependency parser. Also provided are relation and event extractors based on the specifications of the U.S. Government's ACE [Automatic Content Extraction] program. The program is provided under an Apache 2.0 license.
