The Jentity framework attempts to provide the Java platform with more powerful building blocks for integrating objects and components. The framework focuses on the challenge of maintaining consistent data or state in a dynamic environment. This is achieved by provide reusable, extensible objects, that can use to construct higher order structures like components, applications and systems. Examples of concrete problems that can be effectively solved by using the Jentity framework, are shared models, distributed models, MVC constructs.

This is a generic parent POM for some portlet developed for the WebLab platform by EADS team members. For some needs we developed the Abstract WebLab Portlet. It eases development if multiple events need to be handled. If you do not need these functionalities, please consider using an other parent POM for you portlet instead of this POM. Please note that some libraries need to be provided by the portal. Some provided libraries are probably in the portal own libraries (javax.portlet:portlet-api, javax.servlet:servlet-api, javax.servlet:jstl and taglibs:standard). Some other need to be added by your own (for eventing), they are WebLab specific, since we encourage you to only exchange objects of the WebLab model as events (org.weblab-project.core:model, org.weblab-project.core:extended).

The Software Testing Automation Framework (STAF) is an open source, multi-platform, multi-language framework designed around the idea of reusable components, called services (such as process invocation, resource management, logging, and monitoring). STAF removes the tedium of building an automation infrastructure, thus enabling you to focus on building your automation solution. The STAF framework provides the foundation upon which to build higher level solutions, and provides a pluggable approach supported across a large variety of platforms and languages. The JXTA Shell is a sample application that demonstrates key concepts of JXTA JXSE. The JXTA Shell enables users to interact with the JXTA platform through a command-line interpreter. Much like the UNIX® shell, the JXTA Shell is useful for accessing and managing core platform objects (peers, groups, pipes), debugging communications problems, checking the status of peers and/or peer groups, and communicating with other JXTA services and applications. As in UNIX®, the JXTA shell allows users to "pipe" shell commands together connecting commands "on-the-fly." Pipes in Project JXTA are useful for collecting information at one peer and perhaps processing the command at another.
