Beehive's goal is to make J2EE programming easier by building a simple object model on J2EE and Struts. Using the new JSR-175 annotations, Beehive reduces the coding necessary for J2EE. The initial Beehive project has three pieces. NetUI: An annotation-driven web application programming framework that is built atop Struts. NetUI centralizes navigation logic, state, metadata, and exception handling in a single encapsulated and reusable Page Flow Controller class. In addition, NetUI provides a set of JSP tags for rendering HTML / XHTML and higher-level UI constructs such as data grids and trees and has first-class integration with JavaServer Faces and Struts. Controls: A lightweight, metadata-driven component framework for building that reduces the complexity of being a client of enterprise resources. Controls provide a unified client abstraction that can be implemented to access a diverse set of enterprise resources using a single configuration model. In addition, Beehive includes a set of system controls that are abstractions for low-level J2EE resource APIs such as EJB, JMS, JDBC, and web services.

The SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo) is a toolkit that allows a Java application to communicate with any SAP system. It combines an easy to use API with unprecedented flexibility and performance. The package supports both, Java to SAP System as well as SAP System to Java calls. - All SAP Connectors are licensed without additional license fees as part of the respective solution or component license. However, please note that each connector may be used only for connecting external (non-SAP) applications to SAP Systems / SAP Solutions. Scenarios, in which two external (non-SAP) applications are integrated via an SAP Connector, are not allowed. - The redistribution of any connector is not allowed. - All SAP users accessing application functionality through the relevant connector are required to be licensed under a respective solution or component license. JSONXML project is library used to parse/format tree-like object structures in most popular text formats: XML and JSON. For parsing it accepts "java.io.Reader" and return java object. For formatting it accepts java object and "java.io.Writer". Object is generally structure that contains Map and/or List elements. Map is ordered set of named items. List is set of unnamed items. Reflection may be used to convert objects into set of maps/lists and vice versa. JSON parser is implemented explicitly. XML parser is based on SAX parser and applies only certain rules for result. Library is designed to allow various entry points for variable decisions depending on end use needs. 1. Formats - formats are used to enable locale-specific parsing/formatting of numbers and dates. 2. ReflectiveBuilder - enables reflection. Default implementation uses getters/setters only. 3. ObjectsRegistry - used to keep track of parsed or formatted objects and allow resolvable references in formatted (text) form.
