jet from group edu.nyu (version 1.9.0)

Information extraction is the process of identifying specified classes of entities, relations, and events in natural language text – creating structured data from unstructured input. JET, the Java Extraction Toolkit, developed at New York University over the past fifteen years, provides a rich set of tools for research and education in information extraction from English text. These include standard language processing tools such as a tokenizer, sentence segmenter, part-of-speech tagger, name tagger, regular-expression pattern matcher, and dependency parser. Also provided are relation and event extractors based on the specifications of the U.S. Government's ACE [Automatic Content Extraction] program. The program is provided under an Apache 2.0 license.

iserve-parent from group uk.ac.open.kmi.iserve (version 2.1.1)

iServe is what we refer to as service warehouse which unifies service publication, analysis, and discovery through the use of lightweight semantics as well as advanced discovery and analytic capabilities. iServe provides the typical features of service registries and additional functionality that exploits service descriptions, service annotations and further data gathered and derived from the analysis of these descriptions, data crawled from the Web, periodic monitoring and user activities. iServe builds upon lessons learnt from research and development on the Web and on service discovery algorithms to provide a generic semantic service registry able to support advanced discovery over both Web APIs and WSDL services described using heterogeneous formalisms.

elki-project from group de.lmu.ifi.dbs.elki (version 0.7.1)

ELKI is an open source (AGPLv3) data mining software written in Java. The focus of ELKI is research in algorithms, with an emphasis on unsupervised methods in cluster analysis and outlier detection. In order to achieve high performance and scalability, ELKI offers many data index structures such as the R*-tree that can provide major performance gains. ELKI is designed to be easy to extend for researchers and students in this domain, and welcomes contributions in particular of new methods. ELKI aims at providing a large collection of highly parameterizable algorithms, in order to allow easy and fair evaluation and benchmarking of algorithms.

ecj from group edu.gmu.cs (version 22)

ECJ, A Java-based Evolutionary Computation Research System. ECJ is a research EC system written in Java. It was designed to be highly flexible, with nearly all classes (and all of their settings) dynamically determined at runtime by a user-provided parameter file. All structures in the system are arranged to be easily modifiable. Even so, the system was designed with an eye toward efficiency. ECJ is developed at George Mason University's ECLab Evolutionary Computation Laboratory. The software has nothing to do with its initials' namesake, Evolutionary Computation Journal. ECJ's sister project is MASON, a multi-agent simulation system which dovetails with ECJ nicely.

sequentialInformationalBottleneckClusterer from group nz.ac.waikato.cms.weka (version 1.0.2)

Cluster data using the sequential information bottleneck algorithm. Note: only hard clustering scheme is supported. sIB assign for each instance the cluster that have the minimum cost/distance to the instance. The trade-off beta is set to infinite so 1/beta is zero. For more information, see: Noam Slonim, Nir Friedman, Naftali Tishby: Unsupervised document classification using sequential information maximization. In: Proceedings of the 25th International ACM SIGIR Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval, 129-136, 2002.

statistics from group de.xypron.statistics (version 1.0.9)

Xypron Statistics is a Java library which was developped with supply chain simulation in mind. The normal, the exponential and the gamma distribution have been included. Methods to calculate fill rate and order rate service levels as well as safety factors are provided. The Mersenne Twister algorithm is used to provide high quality random number generation. Some functions for the gamma distribution where adopted from http://www.ssfnet.org/download/ssfnet_raceway-2.0.tar.gz. msdk-db-mona from group io.github.msdk (version 0.0.27)

MassBank of America (MoNA), is an auto curating repository for storing, comparing and querying mass spectra of chemical compounds. It is metadata centric and it was designed to allow easy integration into other tools by utilize its REST based application programming interface. At the current time it contains over 200k predicted and 40k unique experimental mass spectra and their associated metadata. The predicted spectra were obtained by utilizing the lipid blast library and the experimental spectra were acquired from 30 different facilities all over the world, including several major research facilities in the United States and Japan. MoNA is utilizing the InChI Key as unique identifier for chemicals and is designed for easy scalability and expendability. This is realized by utilizing common applications like nginx, grails, AngularJS, postgresSQL and tomcat. MoNA is currently integrated in applications like MSDial, BinBase, MZMine and the statistics package R. This was accomplished by utilizing its REST based API, which is also utilized by its main AngularJS based web interface. We consider MoNA to be highly useful for crosslinking mass spectra in publications, identification of unknowns and integration in data acquisition software. This package provides you with access to the REST api of the main MoNA installation.
