Jetty context XML configuration plugin generator helper. This plugin helps you to generate your Context XML file with a dynamic content such as: * classpath entries * web app resources * maven properties Plugin needs a template Jetty context XML file where the dynamic content is injected. Injection of dynamic content is supported as: * altering the DOM with new values * with enabled filtering dynamic values can be replaced as properties (see bellow) Filtering of the template file is supported. Basically it means you can include content from your maven properties in your context XML file. If desired plugin sets two maven properties with the dynamic content: * jetty.conf-plugin.classpath * jetty.conf-plugin.webapp These properties might be used for filtering as well. Avalon Excalibur's resource management code allows you to be notified when a resource has changed. There are two methods of resource management: active and passive. Passive resource management acts as a holder for resources, and after the resource has been modified through it's normal API, notification goes to all listeners. Active resource management does the same, but it also polls the resources periodically to see if the resource was modified through an external method. Active resource management is perfect for monitoring files because they can be modified by external programs, and your program will be notified when the change occurs instead of constantly polling it.

Balea creates a proxy of javax.sql.DataSource, providing dynamic routing to multiple container based databases following a On Demand Data Source Access architecture. Docker is used as manager to create, start or stop database containers on demand and link correspondent data volumes. Thanks to this approach is possible to distribute data across multiple databases keeping active only the necessary ones in each moment maximizing the use of system resources. The distribution and management of data is hidden under the hood, any process that uses this data source interface (i.e. Hibernate) will perceive it as a single source of data. It makes possible for standard SQL database like Postgresql or MySQL to be maintained, backed up or versioned with simple file system operations as the data volumes are attached dynamically to the managed Docker containers. Docker integration allows also to manage database containers in remote hosts.

Tool used to generate the preferred class information for downloadable JAR files in the form of a META-INF/PREFERRED.LIST required for use by the {@link net.jini.loader.pref.PreferredClassLoader}. The list is generated by examining the dependencies of classes contained within a target JAR file and zero or more additional supporting JAR files. Through various command-line options, a set of "root" classes are identified as belonging to a public API. These root classes provide the starting point for recursively computing a dependency graph, finding all of the classes referenced in the public API of the root classes, finding all of the classes referenced in turn by the public API of those classes, and so on, until no new classes are found. The results of the dependency analysis are combined with the preferred list information in the additional supporting JAR files to compute a preferred list having the smallest number of entries that describes the preferred state of the classes and resources contained in all of the JAR files. The output of the tool is a new version of the target JAR file containing the generated preferred list, and/or a copy of the list printed to System.out.

Beehive's goal is to make J2EE programming easier by building a simple object model on J2EE and Struts. Using the new JSR-175 annotations, Beehive reduces the coding necessary for J2EE. The initial Beehive project has three pieces. NetUI: An annotation-driven web application programming framework that is built atop Struts. NetUI centralizes navigation logic, state, metadata, and exception handling in a single encapsulated and reusable Page Flow Controller class. In addition, NetUI provides a set of JSP tags for rendering HTML / XHTML and higher-level UI constructs such as data grids and trees and has first-class integration with JavaServer Faces and Struts.
