There are two ways to use OSGi in server-side[1]. In Carbon, what we have done is, embedding an OSGi framework inside a servlet container. So BridgeServlet delegates all the request from the servlet container to the HttpServiceServlet registered by the http.bridge bundle. This is required only when Carbon is running inside a webapp. There is a possibility to embed an HTTP server(ex. jetty) inside equinox and start a server with all our carbon bundles. This is same as running carbon inside spring DM server. The Config project is home to Sakai configuration and localization files. Config includes several versions of sakai.properties, a text file containing a series of key/value pairs that provide a convenient mechanism for defining a variety of configuration options for Sakai tools, services, supporting database and UI-related text such as copyright statement, institutional name, server name, etc. Settings in sakai.properties are read on startup; thus changes to sakai.properties only take effect after you restart Sakai's servlet container (typically Apache Tomcat).

This ApplicationProperties Java package provides a fast and easily configurable application.properties loader that mimics some key features of the Spring Boot application.properties loader. This package allows for multi-level overloading of properties based on a basename and optional suffix by searching the classpath, optional configurable file paths along with the JNDI server container context. The class [ApplicationPropertiesConfig](src/main/java/com/lyders/application-properties/ApplicationPropertiesConfig.java) controls the features of the overloading of properties such as the base name of the properties file, an optional suffix that allows for the loading of environment-specific or scenario-specific property files as needed. The following features are supported: * Names of properties files can be customized * Locations of properties files can be customized. The following path types are supported: * class path * file system paths * JNDI environment naming context (e.g., Servlet/JSP running under Tomcat) * Environment-specific property files can override the values in default properties files via a "suffix"

This is CRUD interface based on standard JEE MVC servlet, JSP, JSTL. It renders forms and lists of any entity according XML settings (Beige-Settings). Database logic is handled by Beige-ORM. It also includes Mail-sender and database replicator through WEB-service. It is SQLite configured. Put WAR file into Tomcat7 webapps, make sure that Tomcat has libraries: HikariCP-2.4.3.jar, sqlite-jdbc-3.8.11.2.jar, slf4j-api-1.7.12.jar (versions may be different), for MS Windows change file separator in META-INF\context.xml connectionURL from "/" to "\" and reassemble WAR. Beigesoft-Accounting-Web extends it into very complex business application.

jmockring - Java test MOCKing tool for spRING. GWTUpload is a library for uploading files to web servers, showing a progress bar with real information about the process (file size, bytes transferred, etc). It uses ajax requests to ask the web server for the upload progress. It has two components written in java, the server side with servlet and utility classes, and the client side that is compiled into javascript using gwt. GWTUpload-gae is a library with aditional classes needed for using GwtUpload in Google Application Engine (GAE). JSUpload is the client library but compiled and exported into javascript, so users without Gwt skills can use it directly in their web pages. It includes a bunch of useful examples to learn how to use the library and see its features.
