This product brings the original VJDBC concept further and (apart from code quality improvements and bug fixes) implements complete separation of the underlying transport mechanism, introducing support for connecting directly through a SSH pipe, where the relay server interacts with the client through standard I/O pipes. The re-designed transport architecture supports easy development of new transport implementations, allowing this JDBC relay to be quickly adapted to a variety of exotic environments.

Sirix is a temporal storage system effectively and efficiently storing snapshots of time varying (currently semi-structured) data taking full advantage of flash based drives as for instance SSDs. We not only provide several ways of navigating the tree-structure of a single revision, we also support navigation in time. Furthermore we provide a novel storage technique called sliding snapshot to circumvent intermitant full dump snapshots to fast track their in-memory reconstruction and thus we avoiding write peaks and having to read long chains of page fragments/increments/deltas. Sirix uses copy-on-write (COW) as well as an append-only storage making it an ideal candidate for flash based drives while not dropping support for erstwhile disks.

Modelant provides JMI-compliant mechanism to read, process, export models in MOF 1.4, UML 1.3 and UML 1.4, including also an engine for generation of code (any texts) using Object-Oriented Programming and templates. It is an extensible framework allowing adding support of other languages, described using MOF 1.4 metamodels. Modelant provides Maven plugins to automate the creation and comparison of UML 1.3, UML 1.4, MOF 1.4 models; the generation of code from models; the reverse engineering of java code, relational databases and XML DTD/XSD; the transformatoion of models, e.g. tranformation of of UMl 1.3 models to UML 1.4; the comparison and change identification in UML 1.3/UML 1.4 models and MOF 1.4 metamodels. This module defines the interface for AlignmentAlgorithms as well as some helper classes. An AlignmentAlgorithm computes an Alignment of two given input sequences, given a Comparator that works in these sequences. The resulting 'Alignment' may be just a real-valued dissimilarity between the input sequence or may incorporate additional information, such as a full Alignment, a PathList, a PathMap or a CooptimalModel. If those results support the calculation of a Gradient, they implement the DerivableAlignmentDistance interface. In more detail, the Alignment class represents the result of a backtracing scheme, listing all Operations that have been applied in one co-optimal Alignment. A classic AlignmentAlgorithm does not result in a differentiable dissimilarity, because the minimum function is not differentiable. Therefore, this package also contains utility functions for a soft approximation of the minimum function, namely Softmin. For faster (parallel) computation of many different alignments or gradients we also provide the ParallelProcessingEngine, the SquareParallelProcessingEngine and the ParallelGradientEngine.
