The Discovery Engine Open Metadata Access Service (OMAS) provides APIs and events for metadata discovery tools that are surveying the data landscape and recording information in the open metadata repositories.

Seshat (from the ancient Egyptian goddess of knowledge, writing and surveying) is an implementation of Units of Measurement API defined by JSR 385. Seshat is a subset of Apache Spatial Information System (SIS) library keeping only the classes required for JSR 385 implementation.

This 'sis-embedded-data' module contains a copy of EPSG geodetic dataset in an embedded Apache Derby database. Having this module on the classpath avoid the need to set the 'SIS_DATA' environment variable for using the Coordinate Reference Systems (CRS) and Coordinate Operations defined by EPSG.
