atgdust from group com.github.talberto (version 2.1.0)

ATG DUST is a framework for building JUnit tests for applications built on the ATG Dynamo platform. This framework allows one to quickly write test code that depends up Nucleus or ATG Repositories. By using this framework one can drastically cut down on development time. It takes only a few seconds to start up a test with a repository, but it may take multiple minutes to start up an application server. To get started with DUST, take a look at http://atgdust.sourceforge.net/first-test.html. This page will walk you through the process of running a basic test which starts Nucleus. After that, read the other getting started guides to describe how to create standalone Junit tests which can startup repositories and use the DynamoHttpServletResponse classes. For only ATG10 and tested.

userClassifier from group nz.ac.waikato.cms.weka (version 1.0.3)

Interactively classify through visual means. You are Presented with a scatter graph of the data against two user selectable attributes, as well as a view of the decision tree. You can create binary splits by creating polygons around data plotted on the scatter graph, as well as by allowing another classifier to take over at points in the decision tree should you see fit. For more information see: Malcolm Ware, Eibe Frank, Geoffrey Holmes, Mark Hall, Ian H. Witten (2001). Interactive machine learning: letting users build classifiers. Int. J. Hum.-Comput. Stud. 55(3):281-292.

tabuAndScatterSearch from group nz.ac.waikato.cms.weka (version 1.0.2)

Search methods contributed by Adrian Pino (ScatterSearchV1, TabuSearch). ScatterSearch: Performs an Scatter Search through the space of attribute subsets. Start with a population of many significants and diverses subset stops when the result is higher than a given treshold or there's not more improvement. For more information see: Felix Garcia Lopez (2004). Solving feature subset selection problem by a Parallel Scatter Search. Elsevier. jxse-shell from group net.jxta (version 2.5)

The JXTA Shell is a sample application that demonstrates key concepts of JXTA JXSE. The JXTA Shell enables users to interact with the JXTA platform through a command-line interpreter. Much like the UNIX® shell, the JXTA Shell is useful for accessing and managing core platform objects (peers, groups, pipes), debugging communications problems, checking the status of peers and/or peer groups, and communicating with other JXTA services and applications. As in UNIX®, the JXTA shell allows users to "pipe" shell commands together connecting commands "on-the-fly." Pipes in Project JXTA are useful for collecting information at one peer and perhaps processing the command at another.

excalibur-monitor from group org.apache.excalibur.components (version 2.2.1)

Avalon Excalibur's resource management code allows you to be notified when a resource has changed. There are two methods of resource management: active and passive. Passive resource management acts as a holder for resources, and after the resource has been modified through it's normal API, notification goes to all listeners. Active resource management does the same, but it also polls the resources periodically to see if the resource was modified through an external method. Active resource management is perfect for monitoring files because they can be modified by external programs, and your program will be notified when the change occurs instead of constantly polling it.

shades from group net.sf.shadesdb (version 0.0.5)

Shades is an Object/Relational Mapping (ORM) framework that works in conjunction with JDBC APIs. Instead of relying on XML or annotations for configuration, Shades relies on an interface called ORMapping. This makes shades simple and flexible. Shades has no new transaction model nor Connection management which you must learn. You control the transactions, and the Connection that Shades uses, through plain JDBC interfaces. Shades is designed to work well with modern web development frameworks like Tapestry and Wicket.
