This project is a collection of miscellaneous tools shared by a number of projects of the same author. There are **simple tuples** to use with Java Streams, **type-safe maps** ([inspired by the heterogeneous map pattern](https://www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=2861454&seqNum=8)) described in Effective Java by Joshua Bloch, a **finder** that handles in a smart way queries to data sources, a facility to use the **DCI (Data, Context and Interactions) architectural pattern**, a simple **message bus** suitable for using the pub-sub pattern inside an application, some **test utilities**, an **experimental actor framework** and a few other small things. Yes, the project name is a tribute to the [jazz standard with the same name](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/These_Foolish_Things_(Remind_Me_of_You)) by Maschwitz and Strachey.

GroupDocs.Watermark for Java is a powerful document watermarking API to add image and text watermarks. Furthermore, API works to search and remove the watermarks which were already added to the documents by other third-party softwares. The watermarks added by this API are hard to remove by any third-party tools. It is straight-forward and self-descriptive for integration into the custom applications. ASV Toolbox is a modular collection of tools for the exploration of written language data. They work either on word lists or text and solve several linguistic classification and clustering tasks. The topics covered contain language detection, POS-tagging, base form reduction, named entity recognition, and terminology extraction. On a more abstract level, the algorithms deal with various kinds of word similarity, using pattern based and statistical approaches. The collection can be used to work on large real world data sets as well as for studying the underlying algorithms. The ASV Toolbox can work on plain text files and connect to a MySQL database. While it is especially designed to work with corpora of the Leipzig Corpora Collection, it can easily be adapted to other sources.

This is the brand new, re-written from scratch plugin for ANTLR v3. Previous valiant efforts all suffered from being unable to modify the ANTLR Tool itself to provide support not just for Maven oriented things but any other tool that might wish to invoke ANTLR without resorting to the command line interface. Rather than try to shoe-horn new code into the existing Mojo (in fact I think that by incorporating a patch supplied by someone I ended up with tow versions of the Mojo, I elected to rewrite everything from scratch, including the documentation, so that we might end up with a perfect Mojo that can do everything that ANTLR v3 supports such as imported grammar processing, proper support for library directories and locating token files from generated sources, and so on. In the end I decided to also change the the ANTLR Tool.java code so that it would be the provider of all the things that a build tool needs, rather than delegating things to 5 different tools. So, things like dependencies, dependency sorting, option tracking, generating sources and so on are all folded back in to ANTLR's Tool.java code, where they belong, and they now provide a public interface to anyone that might want to interface with them. One other goal of this rewrite was to completely document the whole thing to death. It is written in Java, which allows JUNG-based applications to make use of the extensive built-in capabilities of the Java API, as well as those of other existing third-party Java libraries. The JUNG architecture is designed to support a variety of representations of entities and their relations, such as directed and undirected graphs, multi-modal graphs, graphs with parallel edges, and hypergraphs. It provides a mechanism for annotating graphs, entities, and relations with metadata. This facilitates the creation of analytic tools for complex data sets that can examine the relations between entities as well as the metadata attached to each entity and relation. The current distribution of JUNG includes implementations of a number of algorithms from graph theory, data mining, and social network analysis, such as routines for clustering, decomposition, optimization, random graph generation, statistical analysis, and calculation of network distances, flows, and importance measures (centrality, PageRank, HITS, etc.). JUNG also provides a visualization framework that makes it easy to construct tools for the interactive exploration of network data. Users can use one of the layout algorithms provided, or use the framework to create their own custom layouts. OpenIMAJ (Open Intelligent Multimedia in Java) is a collection of libraries and tools for multimedia analysis written in the Java programming language. OpenIMAJ intends to be the first truly complete multimedia analysis library and contains modules for analysing images, videos, text, audio and even webpages. The OpenIMAJ image and video analysis and feature extraction modules contain methods for processing visual content and extracting state-of-the-art features, including SIFT. The OpenIMAJ clustering and nearest-neighbour libraries contain efficient, multi-threaded implementations of clustering algorithms including Hierarchical K-Means and Approximate K-Means. The clustering library makes it possible to easily create visual-bag-of-words representations for images and video with very large vocabularies. The text-analysis modules contain implementations of a statistical language classifier and low-level processing pipeline. A number of modules deal with content creation, including interactive slideshows and animations. The hardware integration modules allow cross-platform integration with devices including webcams, the Microsoft Kinect, and even devices such as GPS's. OpenIMAJ also incorporates a number of tools to enable extremely-large-scale multimedia analysis using a distributed computing approach based on Apache Hadoop.
