low-latency-primitive-concurrent-queues from group uk.co.boundedbuffer (version 1.0.0)

An low latency, lock free, primitive bounded blocking queue backed by an int[]. This class mimics the interface of {@linkplain java.util.concurrent.BlockingQueue BlockingQueue}, however works with primitive ints rather than objects, so is unable to actually implement the BlockingQueue. This class takes advantage of the Unsafe.putOrderedObject, which allows us to create non-blocking code with guaranteed writes. These writes will not be re-orderd by instruction reordering. Under the covers it uses the faster store-store barrier, rather than the the slower store-load barrier, which is used when doing a volatile write. One of the trade off with this improved performance is we are limited to a single producer, single consumer.

org.semanticweb.hermit from group com.hermit-reasoner (version 1.3.8.4)

HermiT is reasoner for ontologies written using the Web Ontology Language (OWL). Given an OWL file, HermiT can determine whether or not the ontology is consistent, identify subsumption relationships between classes, and much more. This is the maven build of HermiT and is designed for people who wish to use HermiT from within the OWL API. It is now versioned in the main HermiT version repository, although not officially supported by the HermiT developers. The version number of this package is a composite of the HermiT version and an value representing releases of this packaged version. So, 1.3.7.1 is the first release of the mavenized version of HermiT based on the 1.3.7 release of HermiT. This package includes the Jautomata library (http://jautomata.sourceforge.net/), and builds with it directly. This library appears to be no longer under active development, and so a "fork" seems appropriate. No development is intended or anticipated on this code base.

ssj from group ca.umontreal.iro (version 2.5)

SSJ is a Java library for stochastic simulation, developed under the direction of Pierre L'Ecuyer, in the Département d'Informatique et de Recherche Opérationnelle (DIRO), at the Université de Montréal. It provides facilities for generating uniform and nonuniform random variates, computing different measures related to probability distributions, performing goodness-of-fit tests, applying quasi-Monte Carlo methods, collecting (elementary) statistics, and programming discrete-event simulations with both events and processes.

toniclf from group net.sf.squirrel-sql.thirdparty-non-maven (version 1.0.5)

This is the tonic look-and-feel packaged to be distributed with the SQuirreLSQL client. This pluggable look and feel is a free substitute for the default native look and feel of Swing, 'Metal', distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Metal lacks both in usability and aesthetics. It contains considerable graphical noise, distracting the user from the key elements of the GUI. Tonic, on the other hand, tries to provide a clean, balanced look and an improved feel. Tonic is available free of charge both for commercial and non-commercial applications. It lends a professional touch and a very tidy and clean interface to your Swing based applications.

rupy from group com.google.code.p (version 0.2.4)

Weighing less than 50KB, Rupy is probably the smallest Java NIO application server in the world. Rupy is inherently non-blocking asynchronous, which makes it the ideal candidate for high concurrency real-time applications pushing dynamic data. Tested with acme, rupy performs on average ~1500 requests per second. To put that figure in perspective; acme doesn't use keep-alive, so that means 1500 unique TCP connections serving dynamic content per second! Thanks to NIO and an event queue to avoid selector trashing, this figure degrades gracefully under high concurrency.

testsuite from group org.apache.geronimo.testsuite (version 2.1.2)

Geronimo integration testsuite. This contains 2 profiles, default and child. The default profile is used by the top level suites directly under this. The child profile is used by the test poms under the suites. This pom defines the basic dependencies needed by most suites. The start-selenium, start-server, invoke, and stop-server goals are globally configured here in the pluginManagement sections. They just need to be bound in the suites where needed and appropriate. The test poms under the suites should have this pom as their parent and set their relativePath appropriately The test poms under the suites inherit an empty 'child' profile from here. But any other build executions within the test poms should all be inside a 'child' profile.

stop from group jetty (version 5.1.10)

Jetty is an open-source, standards-based, full-featured web server implemented entirely in Java. It is released under the Apache 2.0 licence and is therefore free for commercial use and distribution. First created in 1995, Jetty has benefitted from input from a vast user community and consistent and focused development by a stable core of lead developers. There are many more examples of Jetty in action on the Jetty Powered Page that has selections from among the tens of thousands of production Jetty instances. However, as Jetty aims to be as unobtrusive as possible, countless websites and products are based around Jetty, but Jetty is invisible!

jardiff from group jardiff (version 0.2)

A tool to help visualise API differences between two different versions of a project. Jardiff takes two jar files and outputs all the public API changes as xml, html or plain text. Currently this is command line driven, though we are working on an ant plugin. It requires java 1.4 to run. <h2>Background</h2> At OSjava, we were using a shell script to work out API differences between our release versions. This unfortunately doesn't scale very well to larger projects, the main reason for jardiff was to do the same in a much shorter time (From memory it was taking minutes to get the API diff from two fairly small jars). In it's current state, jardiff can generate the api differences between rt.jar for java 1.4 and java 1.5 in under 20 seconds, so it should scale to even the largest of projects.

org.semanticweb.hermit from group net.sourceforge.owlapi (version 1.4.5.519)

HermiT is reasoner for ontologies written using the Web Ontology Language (OWL). Given an OWL file, HermiT can determine whether or not the ontology is consistent, identify subsumption relationships between classes, and much more. The version number of this package is a composite of the HermiT version and a value representing the OWLAPI release it is compatible with. Note that the group id for the upstream HermiT is com.hermit-reasoner, while this fork is released under net.sourceforge.owlapi. This fork exists to allow HermiT users to use newer OWLAPI versions than the ones supported by the original HermiT codebase. This package includes the Jautomata library (http://jautomata.sourceforge.net/), and builds with it directly. This library appears to be no longer under active development, and so a "fork" seems appropriate. No development is intended or anticipated on this code base.
