cuneiform from group de.hu-berlin.wbi.cuneiform (version 2.0.4-RELEASE)

A Functional Workflow Language. Cuneiform is a workflow specification language which makes it easy to integrate heterogeneous tools and libraries and exploit data parallelism. Users do not have to create heavy-weight wrappers for establised tools or to reimplement them. Instead, they apply their existing software to partitioned data. Using the Hi-WAY application master Cuneiform can be executed on Hadoop YARN which makes it suitable for large scale data analysis. Cuneiform comes in the form of a functional programming language with a Foreign Function Interface (FFI) that lets users create functions in any suitable scripting language and apply these functions in a uniform way. Data paralelism is expressed by applying map, cross-product, dot-product, or combinations of the aforementioned algorithmic skeletons to collections of black-box data.

SEPIA from group de.uni.freiburg.iig.telematik (version 1.0.2)

SEPIA provides implementations for various types of Petri nets. Along Place/Transition-nets, it supports Petri nets with distinguishable token colors and defines coloured workflow nets, where coloured tokens are interpreted as data elements used during process execution. To support information flow analysis of processes, SEPIA defines so-called IF-Nets, tailored for security-oriented workflow modeling which enable users to assign security-levels (HIGH, LOW) to transitions, data elements and persons/agents participating in the process execution.

anythingworks-exampleproject-clientlib from group com.optimaize.anythingworks.exampleproject.clientlib (version 0.5)

The matching web service client library for the server in this example project to connect to the server. This library is ideally provided by the service provider of the server, so that users can go ahead and hack their userland code against this client library, without having to worry about the transport. Whether the client library uses REST or SOAP is up to the implementor, both are possible. A user of the client library usually does not care what technology is used underneath (as long as things are working correctly).

nohr from group pt.unl.fct.novalincs (version 2.0.0)

NoHR (Nova Hybrid Reasoner) is a plug-in for the ontology editor Protégé that allows its users to query knowledge bases composed of both an Ontology in OWL 2 EL or QL and a set of Reasoning Rules. Using a top-down reasoning approach, which means that only the part of the ontology and rules that is relevant for the query is actually evaluated, NoHR respectively combines the capabilities of ELK for OWL 2 EL and a dedicated direct translation for OWL 2 QL with the rule engine XSB Prolog to deliver very fast interactive response times. NoHR is the first hybrid reasoner of its kind for Protégé. NoHR is also distributed as an API.

gwtupload-project from group com.googlecode.gwtupload (version 1.0.3)

GWTUpload is a library for uploading files to web servers, showing a progress bar with real information about the process (file size, bytes transferred, etc). It uses ajax requests to ask the web server for the upload progress. It has two components written in java, the server side with servlet and utility classes, and the client side that is compiled into javascript using gwt. GWTUpload-gae is a library with aditional classes needed for using GwtUpload in Google Application Engine (GAE). JSUpload is the client library but compiled and exported into javascript, so users without Gwt skills can use it directly in their web pages. It includes a bunch of useful examples to learn how to use the library and see its features.

userClassifier from group nz.ac.waikato.cms.weka (version 1.0.3)

Interactively classify through visual means. You are Presented with a scatter graph of the data against two user selectable attributes, as well as a view of the decision tree. You can create binary splits by creating polygons around data plotted on the scatter graph, as well as by allowing another classifier to take over at points in the decision tree should you see fit. For more information see: Malcolm Ware, Eibe Frank, Geoffrey Holmes, Mark Hall, Ian H. Witten (2001). Interactive machine learning: letting users build classifiers. Int. J. Hum.-Comput. Stud. 55(3):281-292.
