Wicket Web Beans (WWB) is an Apache Wicket component toolkit for displaying and editing POJOs that conform to the JavaBeans specification. Web pages are automatically generated based on bean properties and certain conventions. If necessary, the layout, editability, and actions of these pages can be customized on an exception basis. In other words, the toolkit normally does what you'd expect, but when it doesn't, you can override its behavior.

There are two ways to use OSGi in server-side[1]. In Carbon, what we have done is, embedding an OSGi framework inside a servlet container. So BridgeServlet delegates all the request from the servlet container to the HttpServiceServlet registered by the http.bridge bundle. This is required only when Carbon is running inside a webapp. There is a possibility to embed an HTTP server(ex. jetty) inside equinox and start a server with all our carbon bundles. This is same as running carbon inside spring DM server. A secure, REST administrative connector that can be used locally or remotely using any Java developer kit. This connector enables remote access from a Java client or directly through an HTTPS call. The administrator and reader roles protect the connector. The connector requires TLS to keep the communication confidential. The HTTPS port used by the connector is defined through the default HTTP endpoint. This feature supersedes the restConnector-1.0 feature. It enables the REST handler configuration APIs. When this feature is combined with features supporting configuration validation, the corresponding REST handler validation APIs are enabled.

ZooKeeper is a centralized service for maintaining configuration information, naming, providing distributed synchronization, and providing group services. All of these kinds of services are used in some form or another by distributed applications. Each time they are implemented there is a lot of work that goes into fixing the bugs and race conditions that are inevitable. Because of the difficulty of implementing these kinds of services, applications initially usually skimp on them ,which make them brittle in the presence of change and difficult to manage. Even when done correctly, different implementations of these services lead to management complexity when the applications are deployed.

Apache Rat is a release audit tool. It improves accuracy and efficiency when checking releases. It is heuristic in nature: making guesses about possible problems. It will produce false positives and cannot find every possible issue with a release. Its reports require interpretation. In response to demands from project quality tool developers, Rat is available as a library suitable for inclusion in tools. This POM describes that library. Note that binary compatibility is not guaranteed between 0.x releases.
